Deadlift vid for eval 465

nice pull had a few more #s in you. if your lockout is tough an 830 sumo puller told me to do SLDLs with chains... never worked better for my top end dl
 
rocco, nice lift. You look real strong at the bottom of the lift. the middle and the top seem to be giving you the most trouble.

I have never seen anybody roll the weight into them to lift it before. So that was different.

What type of work are you doing for your core?

Do you do HEAVY rack deads?

I roll it in because I can't get down to the bar without doing it that way.

Care work??? I pull deads, do back ext, kettle bell p[ull throughs and some abs.

I don't do rack pulls but I have to start.

The reason I asked about core work was the way you slowed down when your trunk started straightening out.

Ever try good mornings and heavy Roman sit ups?
Just throwing some stuff out there for you is all.

As far as the rack deads go, if you can do them where you can adjust the height, you will love them. For me, I have to stack up stuff to stand on to change the height. lol

Since you do sumo style, I'm not going to be a whole lot of help. However, the different heights you work the weight from will hit you in different places. Below the knee works more hip drive and timing. At the knee works more upper back and your finish. I like to hit the upper back with rack deads. At the end of the movement, I like to squeeze the weight with my traps...helps me finish the dead.

Like I said, just throwing some thoughts at you.
I'm nothing spectacular. I have pulled 600 conventional in shorts and a tee shirt @ 230lbs. That's my best. Like I said, it's nothing special though. Lots of folks on here do lots more than me.

What the hell does Inzer have you wearing these days? Is a meet coming up soon or what? What happened to some good ol raw lifting. I know your place is sponsored but do you always traing in full gear now?
 
For deadlift you want to get into your geasr about 4 weeks out. I have a meet dec 2nd.

Again, you can't get to the bar in my suit without a roll out.
 
This isn't a knock by any means but its funny to see people who bench more than they can dead or squat. Looked good bro keep it up and good luck!
