Did I tear my ligaments or tendons?

I was doing decline barbell bench press. After completing one set I added 20 pounds to each side and at my third rep it was too heavy for me to lift and the area between my forearm and bicep started popping (it made a sound like many times when trying to lift it. It hurts badly when i do any kind of pushing movement. I thought I would also note that my spotter wasn't paying attention to see if I was straining or doing improper form.

Did I tear ligaments or tendons? I hope I don't have an injury that would take weeks or months to heal:(

More than likely, NEITHER. ligaments are bone to bone and tendons are bone to muscle. You probably just heard some air excaping your elbow and it made your bones vibrate in the process. You now probably have tendonitis. Most ligament and tendon injuries leave people in tears at best.

are you sure I don't have an injury because it hurts pretty bad when i move my forearm a certain way and I hear snap noise. When I did the lift I hear a bunch of snaps and hurt like hell...I going to lay off of bench press and tricep exercises for a week.

all i can say is go to the docter. You dont want to risk having something completely tear off, then you would have to have it sergically attached

right nick. see a doc. I doubt that you have a tendon or ligament rupture, but you might have some damage to one of them in that joint. If it was a complete rupture, I doubt you'd've been able to finish the lift.
