Dizziness After Injection (Delt)

Sussed It

New member
The first time I jabbed a friend he went "dizzy" thinking he was gunna pass out, started sweating loads and his hearing went a bit funny (I asperated, no blood so then I went through with it).

It was about a minute or two after the injection that this happened and lasted about 20 minutes.

It then happened to a friend the other week after a jab from someone else.

Just wondering what might cause this as there was no blood when asperated, meaning it couldn't be in a vein. Or could it?

Its all in their heads man. Some people respond different to injections. Ive pinned more times than I can count. Went to the doctor for a routine vaccination, and passed out. Your friends are fine its just coinsidential.

Its like a panic attack, all in his head. This happened to me years ago when I started pinning myself...

Cheers, just thought it was a bit weird. The 2nd guy to do it was used to injections.

Also when I pinned my arm lastnight I could feel a pulse in the syringe when I was pushing it in, was that because I was probably about to poke through a vein?

It means that it is the reaction of that injection that it has started to work on you. There is no any side effect of this drowsy feeling if you are feeling that it might harm you.

All I ever felt was warmth flow out of he muscle for a little bit after any injection. oh and strength and mass gains and hard ons.

This happened to me during my first shot of week 3 of my last cycle. It was is in my delt. Was hard as heck to inject but still made it. Almost immediately after pin was withdrawn, my vision got blurry (black spots, etc.) and I started sweating profusely. For a while, I thought it did not look good. Am told it was Vasovagal Response by JEDI-D.U.I. No more delts for me.

People told me it was anxiety, etc., but I did not buy it.

No more delts for me. Now I know what people refer to as "The feeling of death."

I feel like I'm getting the flu for about 12 hours after a delt injection... I get hot and sweaty. I never do them there anymore..

I inject delts 5-7 days a week for a couple years sometimes only a couple times a week but have never experienced anything like this. Zero problems. Hit a vein every so often.

What is a vosovagal response? I'm assuming it's something to do with having a vagina, but I don't so I'm not sure I can relate. Ok I'm joking but interested on what that is. Guess I could try google but I love pinning delts.

Yeah, the name is funny, but here it is...courtesy of Wikipedia.

A vasovagal episode or vasovagal response or vasovagal attack (also called neurocardiogenic syncope) is a malaise mediated by the vagus nerve. When it leads to syncope or "fainting", it is called a vasovagal syncope, which is the most common type of fainting

Vasovagal syncope occurs in response to a trigger, with a corresponding malfunction in the parts of the nervous system that regulate heart rate and blood pressure. When heart rate slows, blood pressure drops, and the resulting lack of blood to the brain causes fainting.

Typical triggers for vasovagal episodes include:

- Prolonged standing or upright sitting
- Standing up very quickly
- Stress
- P.O.T.S.(Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) Multiple chronic episodes are experienced daily by many patients diagnosed with this syndrome. Episodes are most commonly manifested upon standing up.
- Any painful or unpleasant stimuli, such as:
- Trauma
- Venipuncture
- Watching or experiencing medical procedures
- High pressure on or around the chest area after heavy exercise
- Arousal or stimulants, e.g. sex
- Sudden onset of extreme emotions
- Lack of Sleep
- Dehydration
- Urination ('micturition syncope') or defecation, having a bowel movement ('defecation syncope')
- Random onsets due to nerve malfunctions
- Pressing upon certain places on the throat, sinuses, and eyes (also known as vagal reflex stimulation when performed clinically)
- Use of certain drugs that affect blood pressure, such as amphetamine

Thanks for posting, I now remember what this was except I thought it was vasogeal lol. That makes a lot of sense as well. I still agree there are a number of people who experience this from anxiety but this pretty much covers it.

Great info.

-Sudden onset of extreme emotions
-watching or experiencing medical procedure
-stress
-any sudden or painful stimuli

These all fall in the " all in your head category" to me. your friends shold learn how to pin on their own. The reaon that they do not is cause they are scared. Say what they will to save face but they are scared. Its no wonder they want to pass out after injection, cause they are scared :P
