Do you tell your old lady?

There is a difference between 18 months and 11+ years, two kids and lots of relationship conversation in that time period. Plus the wife is also on cycle.. and Austinite, that whole passive aggressive crap with the "You're in love and you can't imagine hiding anything because it makes you feel guilty and insecure." gets old real quick. Maybe I should say were not all window licking, candy faeries like you so our spouses don't hate us or distrust us. But I won't because I'm bigger then that.

*sniff sniff... I smellll kidds...

hull tech, on or off cycle conception? sex of the children? you should know where i'm getting at here...

I had no intentions of being passive aggressive at all. I had no intention for my opinion to be taken personally, it's merely an opinion.

For what it's worth, I apologize for my choice of words.

OMG anderson Silva just LOST!!!!

and he's retiring!.. after his next ten fights, i suspect that dana white will let him out of the contract and let him go.

Well no shit you're going to tell your wife, she does the same exact thing. At that point she'd be a major hypocrite if she wasn't okay with your use. Like I said earlier it is an exception when the female of the relationship was also bitten by the iron bug.

heh. I completely went blind and didn't see that both him and his wife are users.

HULL, I respect your opinion, but your position is the opposite of what we are discussing, and for that reason I'm now confused why you lashed at me. Frankly, my apology stands, however, quite disappointed in your frantic, irrelevant rant.

I was wondering about that too. He's safe from her telling everyone, including law enforcement, about his use because she does the same thing. She is not going to go to the police about it or bring his use up in court because that would backfire on her. Therefore, who really cares if she knows? On top of that since she does the same thing she can't tell him not to.

It all depends on the situation you're in and what your wife/gf is like. I'm all for respecting each other in relationships but sometimes personal privacy IS respect.

Very well said. It's just not a one-size-fits-all problem. Personal privacy is not lying.

Lol on my first cycle my mom found a syringe when I was cycling during summer break. I told her I took it from the hospital where I was volunteering and she bought it, so I was off the hook (perks of having foreign parents, they believe anything hahah). 6 months later im on my second cycle and I'm home for spring break and she finds pre loaded syringes. I had to come clean at that point haha. I promised I wouldn't cycle again and she left my dad out of the picture. I guess I'm just gonna have to find a better hiding spot next month when I start again lol.

hmmm... pre loading syringes.... tsk tsk... not good!

I should say that for my first 6 months of cycling she was not on a cycle but simply my facilitator.. and I talked to her for over a year about it before i went started.

I will say this, there is a big difference between a wife and a GF. My wife knows I cycle and have for years, however, there are some nuts that I dated in the past so its a good thing I never mentioned a word of it. You have to be selective on who knows. I mean, I am amazed that people even tell co-workers they are on gear. With how cut throat people are these days, its just not a good idea to shit where you eat. I would tell the wife and be honest because thats how I am as a person however, I can see both sides of the coin on this issue. I had a friend who told his wife he was juicing and she was cool with it until he got divorced and he all of a sudden became a roid raged addict. Lol.

My wife pins me as well... Married 10 years, dated 7 years before that, 2 kids... i don't think she's going anywhere.. lol

Wife pins me as well. Been together for 16 married years and 20 total. I told her of my plans before I started and asked her to do the pinning. If you can't trust your wife then you married the wrong woman. Marriage is about trust and I guarantee that had if I not have told her and she found my gear, she would have been pissed but not wanting a divorce over it. Different mentality with a good wife whom a great marriage is based.

Married almost 18 years and yes she knows. I figure if divorce ever comes up, my AAS use is the least of my worries in this day and age. Then again, we pretty much share everything from our drinking and smoking herb together days to fitness and we're both on 3J diets together. Once she's ready she's also interested in running a few cycles which I'm still studying up on so we can make the best of it. Like it was said earlier in this thread, I think it's a personal decision and completely different for each relationship as everyone has a different view on AAS and some may not choose to share this facet of their lives as they don't want to jeopardize their relationship. I don't personally think hiding things from your spouse is a recipe for success, but again YMMV.

My .02c :)
