Does anybody use maca supplements to aid HRT

Long time ago I was given maca as part of a natural subscription from my doctor as a means to boost test levels and aid in maintaining good fertility. Natural meds are still big in Japan. I just saw a TV program about it and while I didn't understand all of it I started wondering if I gave up on it too early (only too it for a month). Does anyone have experience with it?

My understanding is that 99% of all "natural testosterone boosters" work by causing the body to either release more leutinizing hormone, or by having the body metabolize (dispose of) estrogen. Neither of these functions will do much for you in regards to TRT unless you naturally aromatize at a low rate and tend have excess estradiol floating around. I do know a few that use natural estrogen reducing agents, but they also do not require an AI either.

Before I committed to the vial and needle, I tried every single "natural test booster" on the market, and while DAA had the best results, I would hardly write home about an increase of around 20ng/dL total testosterone. They just simply are mostly hype and seldom do much more than drain the wallet.

It's definitely your body and your future, but I would investigate clomid/HCG therapy long before wasting hundreds of dollars on stuff that isn't even regulated as they know it won't do much for you aside from making your pee have a dollar value assigned to it.

My .02c :)

Austinite has a good description of why to use Maca in the must use supplements write up he did. But it won't be boosting your T levels or some of other bs certain companies try and tout it as. It's considered a super food and high in certain vitamins. It's a cheap supplement if bought correctly.
