Does Gear Make You "Smell" Different?

Ironically, I was JUST thinking about this today at the gym.

I know for a fact mine does.
Occasionally when I sweat really heavy on gear I smell a harsh smell, like acetone. I know what my normal BO smells like, this is way different.

Always wondered if it was the oil in the gear getting sweated out or what. I guess pheremones makes sense too.

I am having the same problem of Excessive sweat, I want to ask does health supplements do have the same effects and can be the reason for bad odour from the sweat .
