Does grapefruit juice affect AI's?

I know that it can enhance the effects of oral steroids by allowing them to stay in the system longer but does it affect an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) like letro?

Grapefruit juice is known to cause an inhibition of certain liver enzymes.

So technically yes. But not enough to really notice too much of a difference.

I'm not gonna get all crazy behind the science of this because I'm not a doctor. But it is true grapefruit juice can effect the metabolism when combined with certain drugs.

I don't recommend grapefruit juice if you are on any drugs that interact with it, or have any liver diseases.

I also would not recommend oral steroids if you have an impaired liver either.

I recall reading that grapefruit juice has the ability to increase the effectiveness of just about any other drug you take....whether it be asprin or Hdrol

Just remember that the greater the gains = the greater the sides (usually)

You can use grapefruit juice with whatever you want (i'd personally would rather just eat a grapefruit) and expect to see said compound become more potent

It only affects drugs that utilizes the CYP3A4 pathway, which i think all the oral steroids do. If that's the case, that could be beneficial for the more expensive orals like anavar where you could get more out of a lower dosage and save some money

It inhibits this enzyme that would normally break down the drug, allowing more of it to pass to the bloodstream untouched.
I've heard numbers as high as 25% +, but take that with a grain of salt...
Never heard anything about estro, increase. And honestly, I can't think why it would.

This is a legitimate way to make better use of expensive orals...
No ones talking about skimping on diet or training, just a good ol chemical convo which we like to have around here
