Does Pseudoephedrine have same results as Ephedra?

Dlove

Product of Test
Ive been wondering this because I have bad sinus problems and when I take two pseud's in the morn before cardio I feel like that Russian off the old Roky movie I cant stop, I feel high and break out in a good sweat.

Whats peoples take on suppin that?

pseudo ephedrine =/ ephedrine HCl

just for the books, in terms of fat loss, youre not looking for match the effects of ehpedra, the goal is to match the effects of ephedrine - which no OTC product has been able to do. ephedrine HCl is more pure than ephedra and doesnt cause the same goofy effects on people. same goes for yohimbe vs yohimbine HCl.

if youre just looking for a good pre workout stim, then judging by what youve told us about the effects PE has on you, why not just stick with it?

So basically pseudo is the same as ephedrine hcl. So you think a good plan for 7 a.m fasted cardio would be, empty stomach, two cups black coffee, my two pseudo's, and amino acids than hit the cardio for like 40minutes-1hr. The only problem with these pseudo's is they make me wanna keep goin and goin and what you told me in previous post is fasted cardio=low intensity, i have a tough time with that.

no, PE does not equal E is what that meant.

fasted cardio calls for yohimbine HCl + caffeine. Then 3 hours later I would do the E.

Also no amino acids. They are hyper insulinogenic and defeat the purpose of fasted cardio (and the Y).

thanx bro I appreciate your help with this a lot it's my new kick. ive been into bulking to long it's time to get lean.

One sorry two last ?'s if you dont mind. I thought yohimbine HCL was script only? also when would you take the BCAA's with the fasted cardio. I usually have a protein/gatorade shake right after cardio to help revive me maybe i should take 20 grams with that?

no prob.

yohimbine HCl isnt rx only. get it from bulknutrition. get the caps, making a solution of of the powder is more trouble than its worth.

you could take BCAAs post-cardio/pwo, but they really arent necessary.

These two drugs are NOT exactly the same.

Pseudoephedrine PRIMARILY produces a vasoconstriction on the blood vessels going to the nasal/sinus regions, which reduces the amount of fluid filtered out of the capillaries there, therefore reducing the congestion in those areas. It has very little CNS stimulatory effects, unlike Ephedra

Ephedra, in my opinion, would be a better performance enhancing drug for a few simple reasons: It is a Bronchodilator (though not extremely potent), which means airflow to your lung tissue will be increased, and it enhances Heart Rate & heart contractility by stimulating Beta-1 receptors on the heart. Ephedra also is a CNS stimulant, so expect to be more alert, perhaps even jittery.

Both these drugs can be really dangerous when combined with high intensity workouts. Be careful when you are using them, especially Ephedra.

I guess to answer your question, it is possible that PE could have some Ephedra-like effects, but not nearly as potent. Due to arterial constriction to the nose/sinus region, some blood flow could possibly be diverted to the skeletal muscles, but I believe this effect would be pretty insignificant. In any case, Ephedra is a better performance-enhancer due to its effects on the airway and CNS, but it is also more dangerous. Use both with caution.
