ESTRO VERY HIGH Expert advice needed !!

Thank Jim It was Quest, Heading there today for E2 sensitive. Problem is i need to explain to my doctor why i need Estrodiol test instead of Estrogen, and i really dont know what to tell him except that its the test Men get and the important estrgen that needs to be tested. All i know is i need to treat this and knock the level down before i start TRT. Its hard when the test cyp is sitting right in front of you and you feel so lousy , but i know better. The doc didnt think it was that big of a deal and told me to take Zink. You would think he would have givin me a dex in this situation with levels being so high

See post #13. You need to learn more about the Aromatase Enzyme and estradiol along with their relationship to Testosterone and the Pituitary. This is part of the HPTA feedback loop.

Thanks I have a better understanding now. Im going back to the doc today and tell him i want a sensitive e 2 test . Can you give some advice on what else to tell or ask him about the whole situation. My plan is to get the e2 test and ask hime to give me a dex to drive the e2 down and hcg to stimulate my natural test to try to drive it up. Then get more blood work see where everything is at before i start shots again. Does this sound like a solid approch . I have another chance at the doc today and want to make the most of it !! All i know is i cant begin to explain how lousey i feel and need to get the estro down and come up with a plan. If you can let me know your opinion so i can relate to the doc in a intelligent manner what i think i should do i would appreciate it. Appoinments at 4 today

i think you just need a light dosage of adex.. .25mg twice a week and you'll be fine

How much is your b.f. % ?

Right now 14 0/0 and i do alot of cardio. The high estro explains why i cant get bf down. I got to get it down. Im going back to doc and see if he will give a dex @ .25 2 times week and hcg . I figure ill run that for a few months get new blood and go from there without any Test. Sound like a good plan for my situation ??

Are you experiencing any panic attacks or anxiety in the last while?
(More so than usual)

Your estradiol is probably high. As indicated previously, a small amount of adex or Aromasin would take care of it. Personally, I would like to see the E2 result before starting an AI though. You could have this result in a couple of days so I don't see much harm in waiting.

hCG is a different conversation. You need to get your estradiol under control before you add in hCG. hCG can increase estradiol two ways. 1) It can result in a small increase in testosterone levels which in turn will result in more of it being aromatized into estradiol. 2) It can cause what is known as intra-testicular aromatization which cannot be controlled by an AI.

It really helps to only make one change at a time when. trying to get your TRT protocol filed in. If you add hCG in and an an AI it is going to makes things tougher with two variables that you have no experience with. And I can already see that you have a personality where everything is a crisis. Dialing in TRT requires patience. Small incremental changes work best.

I agree with Mega...
You have high estradiol, you really don't know or have experience using HCG and arimidex.
I would take small steps and see what comes about with the adex first.

Doc wouldnt give me a dex. even with estrogen at 316.let alone hcg. Tried to explain the reasoning behind it but he doesnt even know why he wont give it to me lol Frustrating !!!! So i asked for new blood work for e2 sensitive and prolactin and a referal to a endo. So thats the plan for now unless i just take matters in to my own hands or go to a actual HRT Clinic that understands whats up!! Thanks for all the advise

You could just order Arimidex or Aromasin from RUI. A lot of guys don't get AI's from their docs and just take matters into their own hands.

And see my signature at the bottom of this post for how to get your own private blood work. It is cheap and fast.

My doc wont treat my high E2 levels either. He tends to believe that estrogen isn't a problem in males and that I am over thinking things. Going to self treat/medicate, with bloods, to get it under control until I can meet with an endo instead of my current Dr.

Sounds about right!! Its frustrating trying to find a doc who knows what they are doing and cares, Instead of being affraid to prescribe whats needed. Your def not over thinking things. Your just being a informed advocate for your own health.
I just did a estrodiol test on my own and waiting for results. Ill probally then self treat as it seems to be alot easier then dealing with all the bs. High E2 is a big problem and should not be ignored. Why some docs want to make it out as no big deal is not correct. Good luck to you.

Cause they want to play it safe. A.I.s are off label.
They don't want to risk getting sued to help someone they dont know out.
Also there are no long term studies done on it. So there are plenty docs that are scared to death of it.
