Firing Urself Up Before A Workout

It's good to be back!
I want to bring up a discussion where we can all exchange our methods we use to pump ourselves up before training...

I attend to use a Energy drink 3 times a week(caffeine or any form of caffeine) I find that if you have an energy drink or some sort of caffeine booster makes you mentally "syked" and make you even lift possibly 5 more pounds. I use my Ipod Shuffle blasting Tupac, Alexisonfire,Linkin Park, and occasionally Euro/dance... I'd say for the most part music is one of the best ways to pump you up.

On days I need to take my inject I would train 2 hours later so the test can be absorbed in my body.

What are everyone else's methods/tools?? :rockband:
 
I take a shit...no joke. I just got into that routine somehow and I workout at the same time everyday. I'm more comfortable working out with empty bowels. Besides that, just pumping some kickass music.

hahahaha!! I find taking a shit helps too..lol
 
Check myself out in the mirror for about 15 minutes, hit some poses...Then work myself into a frenzy telling myself I'm a superhuman, animal, or a machine who knows nothing of fear or fatigue...whatever sounds best to me at the time. Then I tell myself that the weight I'm lifting is too light, way too easy, and that I'm going to rip through my set. I also find that it pumps me up to make a lot of noise and throw weights, but I don't typically do that (not looking for negative attention) unless I'm maxing out. If I listen to music I like Disturbed, Metallica, or Rage Against the Machine.

Rage is good....
 
I dont really need to get fired up it usually switches on the second I walk through the door, just that whole enviroment is usually enough for me. But on thoes few days when I cant be assed I Watch Rocky 4 training montage then Im ready to fuck the world up!!
 
I think it is necessary to have a shit behind training. Lifting heavy weights, especially squats, result in alot of pressure. I wouldn't want to shit myself mid squat ha ha!

As for gearing up for the gym. I just get worked up as soon as i walk into a gym.
 
I always rip ass on the leg press...the combination of the compromising position and the pressure makes it inevitable.

You know those cramps you get when your holding in a diahrea or huge shit?? That is the worst while doing legs. I might get that like once in a while but I had it once during a workout and it was one of those emergency craps you have to take! At the time I was working out at my cities YMCA, so I never ever use public washrooms to take a shit unless I would die if I didn'.t So you could imagine what I felt like doing it at the YMCA with fucken grubbed out kids and old farts!
