first cycle help to prepare for show

wasnt everyone calling bs on your stats last summer when you put up 2 pics?

hahaha yes they were. and i dont blame them. i hear a lot of bs myself that i find hard to believe..i apologize for getting so irritated on that thread but i was rattled because i have been working my ass of for the past 9 years to be as strong and as in good shape as i am today..when people doubt me it sets me off..
 
How far off is your show? I think throwing in a variable like test could really fuck you over. It sounds like you've done a few shows. I would stick to what you normally do and start your first course of test afterwards.
 
the show is in late june. and this will be my first big show i compete in.

why is test not a good idea before a show? would it be more due to the likeliness to carry water?

I was thinking along running
-test-not sure whether to go prop or cyp. I like prop because there is less bloat and it is faster acting, but i hear sides on it are harsher.
-var-last 6 weeks to help with fat loss right before show
-masteron or bold-to harden me up while on the test, and help with any water retained.

Any thoughts on this?

I would also run aromasin throughout and for pct id opt with torem and maybe clomid. now is hcg necessary throughout?

I think you're rushing it bro. I like your current gameplan, but I won't generally recommend to use more than one substance in your first cycle. You will do what you want to do, though. Winstrol is more popular in bodybuilding than Anavar is, but it's also harsher.

Hi guys, been on here since I was a teenager and have just been reading and learning as much as I could since I started..and I feel its finally time for me to start my first cycle

I have been invited to a show where the overall winner will have chance to receive their pro card, and I will start contest prep starting may.

My question is what would you guys recommend for a cycle to prepare? I know test first is always talked about..but I want you guys to understand im not looking to get any bigger at all. strictly maintaining strength while being as lean as possible.

I am an EXTREMELY easy gainer and genetics are on my side. my father is 6'4 265lbs and was an all american line backer..

I am 214lbs as of yesterday with my bf averaging at 4.5% after 3 skin fold tests taken. I eat extremely healthy, and know how my body reacts to different diets..to me diet is key to getting lean. I already am in incredible shape for not having stepped to the dark side yet, but I would really appreciate some help on this..this is a chance for me to get a fucking pro card!!! haha.

Even at 6 1' 214 lbs at a TRUE--L E G I T 4.5% being natural is incredible.

I been competing for years and years and those are phenomenal stats.

Hell even if your BF% measurement is 7% -- still insanely lean.

If you are those stats please post a picture if you haven't.

What federation is this pro qualifier in?

If you even want to make top 10 ---at your height and weight -- you will need to cycle testosterone NOW to accrue size, and then cycle HEAVIER pre-contest to continue to "grow into the show."

I can give you some direction, but first I am still unsure of your claims....

I can post a true 4% BF of myself and it doesn't feel good.

I been competing for years and years and those are phenomenal stats.

Hell even if your BF% measurement is 7% -- still insanely lean.

matt..there is a link about with a pic i posted from last year. i have dropped a bit of bf since then, but that is what i am like during my "non cutting/strict dieting." i had the AT at my university do my bf and i asked them to do it 3 times to avoid a high percent error.

i am competing in the fitness group..not the body building at this show. after school and my athletic career i will go on into the body building division but at this time i need to stay around a certain weight for my sport.

im not sure what federation it is in as friend at school just told me about the show this week as his mother is a judge at the show. he had been telling her that i could compete in it since the start of the year but she never believed him. over break he showed her a picture of me and she called me right after asking me to do the show because she said i have a really good chance of winning.
 
That's what I was getting at...maintaining 4% is near impossible for any considerable amt of time...

i wont lie..during the week i feel extremely lethargic. if it werent for caffeine i wouldnt make it through my workouts, but i am pretty much on a constant carb cycle even during my season. for example this whole week i have had practices twice a day and an off ice workout. the only carbs i take it is pretty much green vegetables(broccoli, spinach, etc..), but seeing i have games tomorrow and saturday night i have been eating more carbs.

Have you ever considered doing natural bodybuilding competitions? If everything you say is true, you could crush in those right now. And if it wasn't your thing, you could always turn to AAS later.

What show did you win that qualified you for nationals to get a pro card? I'd like to see the show website to see your conditioning on stage. If you're competing in IFBB, there is no men's fitness bro. Did you mean men's physique? I compete as well (bodybuilding) and know what its like to be that low in bodyfat. I can very easily post pics from my shows. So not that I'm knocking you, but I am curious in some of your claims.

You didn't answer the question about your body fat.

a 3 point caliper test is very misleading and always shows your bf% to be much lower than it really is. i know for me it shows my bf atleast 4-5% less...there's an guy in the gym who keep telling everyone he is 3-4%..but in fact it more like 8-9% hehe....but either way..anything less than 10% is awesome

Bro Really? Not trying to be a dick! your a beast! But 4.2% body fat? I'm calling BS your Avitar is no where near 4.5 and the gods Honest truth if you ever hit 4.5 you wouldn't be on stage you would be in a hospital some where! This is a myth people need to be aware of!
 
thanks matt..i appreciate your input. you do seem to have a lot of knowledge on these boards. i apologize but i was just recently told about the competition and my friend told me it was fitness. i was able to look into it, and you are right it is physique. i have never been in a show so my knowledge regarding them is extremely minimal.

I have always planned on eventually competing, but i do play collegiate sports so that has been my first interest in regards to my training. lets face it..its paying my college bills so thats why i was gonna hold off on competing....however my friends mother is a judge for the physique portion of the show, and he told me if i was the overall winner than i have a chance of getting my pro card..whether that is true or not i dont know. its what he told me.

his mother did tell me that i should already win the physique portion with how i look now..i just wanted to know what would be a good idea for a pre-show cycle because if i have a chance of gaining my pro card from it, a cycle would take my physique now to even further levels.

and phatbastard your not being a dick..there is error in everything. thats why i said it was tested by my AT..it very well could be higher than 4.5% but im just saying what my AT told me. regardless i know im sub 10 because im pretty sure having veins showing in my abs would mean that hahaha
