****underradar: no luck with dexa scan. i thought i had it locked up but my insurance didn't accept the fake diagnosis the doctor gave me lol. i've been using the handheld one at the gym which is supposedly very inaccurate, but the point is even if it reads too high or too low, it has stayed the same so far so i at least kn ow i'm not adding fat....yet lol
its monday of week 6 and as you can tell i usually only update when something worth sharing happens.
week 6 updates: great mind to muscle connection going on. i can really squeeze the muscles im working on and isolate them.
motions seem more fluid. i'm able to keep good form on heavy lifts without having to adjust or alter my form because of joint pain.
i missed the dbol pumps last week, but now the test deca pumps are kicking in and man they feel great.
my arms are taking on this new shape that i really like, you can see the separation of the bicep and tricep nicely, especially with a good pump.
strength is not climbing rapidly, but it's been a nice steady climb of strength. maybe adding a rep or so a week, but first few reps feel lighter for sure. not too worried about huge strength gains, i'm more focusing on flexing the muscles as i rep and really shooting for max hypertrophy. no ego lifting on this cycle, if i have to drop the weight to get better isolation on my target muscles, then so be it.
overall i feel better since stopping dbol. dbol was great the first couple weeks as it kept me in a great mood all day, but weeks 3 and 4 i was almost in a manic state. i was overly happy everyday to the point where it was anoying and i was saying and doing things that i wouldn't normally. idk it was just weird...i've leveled out mentally since lol.
ok at this point i have 2 questions for you guys:
1.) just bought 10 lbs of dextrose which i will be taking 80g post workout with my 2 scoops of whey, folowed very shortly by my post workout feast. what are your thoughts on using dextrose. it was cheap and i thought it would be a good quick way to replentish glycogen and spike insulin for nutrient transportation. thoughts?
2.) i have enough tbol to run 80mg for 6 weeks. my original plan was to save it for a future cycle. would it be worth tossing in as a finisher....maybe weeks 10-16? i know that running 2 orals isn't ideal but tbol is supposed to be pretty mild and i have plenty of nac left. would it really even make a difference or would the test deca kinda mask the effectiveness of it? i'm all about simpler cycles and good diets to get results, but i'm just tired of staring at the bottles haha. thoughts on this? worth it or just a waste?
