Every time I do pecs it seems that my front delt "area" gets blasted. I say "area" b/c its about where the pec meets the shoulder. It is usually more sore than my pecs, however my pecs stil get hit hard. Is this normal or might I be doing something wrong?

I dont mind it I just dont want to be on my way to injury or nuttn'

Heres to routine:

bb bench press 4 x 12/10/8/6
incline db's 3 x 10/8/6
decline db's 2 x 8

Maybe someone could give you a better answer, but I used to get the same when my bench form was closed elbows. Now I'm benching with elbows out and my pecs get hit more than front delts.

I have a seperate shoulder day. I do chest/bi's. When I do bi's alone I do not get the same soreness. I'm doin chest tomarrow and I'm gonna mess with my grip and elbow position a little. As long as I'm not hurtn' anything I could use the delt work ; )

How many days in between your training split...are shoulder and chest day...?
Try a lower incline like 30degrees on the bench......it will take alot of the hit away from the front delts....

most likely thats the problem right there..i would go with chest/shoulders/tri in ne workout as long as your ego can take it..
most grow and get stronger from doign that
