Gear or no Gear, it is hard to get to the Gym

Some peeps work better solo, some in groups. I only like groups personally for spotting, the rest of the time my workout partners have been....slow. I like to get in, bust it out, be done and get out. People wanna talk, I wanna lift lol.

But I understand some days it can be pretty hard to go solo. Especially if things are hard atm or your dealing with something emotionally. On those days, a pre-workout works.

I usually try to avoid it since i have tinnitus(too many stims and the ringing gets louder), but there comes a time in a lifters life when the lift is more important than all else :D :D
 
the only benefit is see is having someone spot you and help you take it past failure with negative reps and sht like that. other than that i think its annoying to be taking turns and waiting on them. used to workout with my cousin but i got tired of waiting on him cause hes always late so i said fuk it ima go alone. my wife comes with me now so i have her spot me if needed but she cant help with negatives cause shes weak.
 
I love my training partners ,just some hardcore rednecks who have been in the military worked on farms and played football so its always pushing someone to go that 100% ,but i trained by myself for years and eventually prolly train by myself again , i just love working out, besides the muscles ,the pump the great feeling of just feeling better mind and body after a workout ,the gym is somewhere i love to be , if they could just put a fridge, stove ,and a bed in the corner i would live there lol
 
Other than chest day i prefer lifting alone...when i used to work out with my buddy it was grate...i was pushing myself harder and getting the best work out but it didnt work out for too long since its hard to blend 2 workout plans together when one of you miss a day once in a while like funky said (btw funky thats some crazy gyno you got there on the pic)

Than after working out solo for a year i decided to take that one guy with me since i started a cycle and wanted to push myself harder...he was a noob and after a week i almost kicked his ass in the gym for asking me 100 time the same question what is this for or how to do that etc...now he walks to the other side of a sidewalk when he sees me


Ha yeah that gyno was killing me. I am going to kill myself if i have to live with it another day..
 
It's always great to train with someone that can teach you something
or show what hasn't been possible for you yet.
I prefer to train alone. People come and go. DB's and BB's weigh the same
everywhere.
