I dont get too involved with politics but a friend brought this to my attention. Apparently google plans to work with the NSA, National Security Agency. I was told that google saves every search you ever do, which i myself am guilty of googling alot of gear related things. Does anyone have any input on this?

I could be wrong but it probably is. I know it was only a rumor, and I'm not saying I believe it, but some say the govt is looking into buying out google as means of a national security issue because of all the info one could find on it. Crazy yes but who knows....

Horse Shit. My father was a Deputy Diretor at a federal agency. The government doesn't have the ability or the budget to do half the things you think they do. Google and the nsa don't have the money it would take to keep every search. It is also illegal. It is a Clear violation of the Bill of Rights.

that's what the patriot act is for.

remember, drugs fund terror. so if the DEA thinks you're into drugs, they have the right to spy on you, tap your phones, see what you search for on-line, wire tap your house among other things.

the NSA and google are absolutely going to partner up. This doesn't mean they'll have the ability to log every search, but it does make it easier for the DEA and government to track specific people.

Definitely a violation of the bill of rights but what ^^^ says is true. The patriot act superseeds all. If anything is considered a threat to nat security there's no stopping what big brother will do. Not saying they will go after everyone & everything but they def can
