These things really helped me last night with the pain i have been feeling in my hips. I was able to drop the box below parallel again, after i raised it to just barely above last week due to pain. Did 315 for 8 sets of 2 fairly quick reps. The last set may have slowed a little but I felt good. No real pain afterwards. These things are great, but getting them on was a real pain, and i got some funny looks in the gym locker room, lol.

I bought a pair of Inzer knee wraps. I'm still waiting for the delivery. This has nothng to do with your thread, sorry.

What are powerpants supposed to do? Are they like a bench shirt (but for squats).

Being that i am not an expert by any means on equipment, and i bought them from the advice of dadawg, i am going to assume it is like a mild version of the bottom part of a squat suit.

them things look pretty tight....did u have any discomfort wearin it? ya know...the twiggie and berries?

Well, I have no clue at all as to what squat suits and bench shirts do. Anyone care to enlighten me? I don't need them. I don't push or pull the weight that some of you do, but I still would like to know. I bought the Inzer knee wraps because of knee surgeries in the past. Love em. And only 22 bucks.......can't beat that.

yes it is very tight, and yes thier is some disconfort, but it goes away after a little while. It gives you some rebound out of the bottom and kept my hips from hurting from going below parallel.

never used the exact thing you are useing but you pretty much nailed it . the support helps protect those hips and lift heavier weight , i see more rebound on a regular squat than off boxes so im looking forward to hearing how you do after a few weeks on the box and you try some squats .

jcp you can use the powerpant on deadlifts as well . my workout partner uses his and loves them . give them a shot :)

karin makes a nice singly ply denim trainer that works well. it comes up about chest high.
