Hey guys! So, Growing up I was always on the chubbier side, but I've lost weight and developed a more solid body, but even after cutting down to a lower bodyfat %, I still have a large amount of fat in my chest! I do not BELIEVE its gyno, but I haven't been to a doctor about it, so I wouldn't know. I've never cycled or done anything along those lines, but I've been looking into anything from Chyrsin, to Nolva, and Letro! I'm a little lost and I'd really appreciate some guidance guys! What should I do, for how long and where should I get it!! Thanks in advance guys!!!!!!!!!

Good diet, cardio, and chest workouts. I don't no of anything u can take that pinpoints chest fat. You just gota keep hitting it and working hard... You could go to the doc and get bloods and make sure there's not a reason for it. Nothing beats hard work and diet tho.

I would confirm it is pubertal gynecomastia before you attempt fixing it. You could do more harm than good.

Chrysin will do nothing for you. Letro will crush your E2 levels and you'll be miserable and does nothing for pubertal gynecomastia.

Raloxifene has been proven effective, however. But again, confirm before you use. Some folks hold more fat in their chest than other areas. might just be excess fat.

What austinite said. And if its to late, and i am assuming this was from childhood, then surgery is the only answer. Alot of time you can reverse it if caught in time. But then again, if you already have it, then really hit your chest hard and see if that doesn't help it at all.

Agree. But I would like to point out that Raloxifene was studied and is effective for pubertal gynecomastia. Hard to believe but it's good info to have and worth a try.

Like I said guys I don,t think I have gyno, like you said I might just store more fat there than other areas, but I was wondering if it had something to do with estrogen levels or things of that nature. I forgot to mention I'm turning 19 soon for an idea of my age, but I've been pretty freakin' lean and still had man boobs. I'm pretty curious about Raloxifene, but like you said I would want to confirm if I do have gyno before, what kind of doctor should I go to?? I don't have any lumps or balls in my chest, so that kinda make me doubt it even more.

Start off with your family doctor and go from there. He'll point you in the right direction if more action is needed. Don't take things into your own hands, especially if you don't know what's going on.

Try your primary doc, if he's clueless, get referred to an edno. Have some bloodwork done and bring up the idea of raloxifene if endo confirms gyno. It's worth a shot.

I also carry excess fat in my chest, even when bf is low. I just naturally have a thick chest.

Hope that helps?

Chest workout won't do anything for chest fat or gyno. You can't spot remove fat.

OP, do you have a small lump behind your nipple, any hard tissue at all?

It can possibly reverse pubertal gyno? Wow, I was under the impression that surgery was the only fix for a person that had gyno for a number of years. Good info. as always always Austinite.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES:
To assess the efficacy of the anti-estrogens tamoxifen and raloxifen in the medical management of persistent pubertal gynecomastia.

STUDY DESIGN:
Retrospective chart review of 38 consecutive patients with persistent pubertal gynecomastia who presented to a pediatric endocrinology clinic. Patients received reassurance alone or a 3- to 9-month course of an estrogen receptor modifier (tamoxifen or raloxifene).

RESULTS:
Mean (SD) age of treated subjects was 14.6 (1.5) years with gynecomastia duration of 28.3 (16.4) months. Mean reduction in breast nodule diameter was 2.1 cm (95% CI 1.7, 2.7, P <.0001) after treatment with tamoxifen and 2.5 cm (95% CI 1.7, 3.3, P <.0001) with raloxifene. Some improvement was seen in 86% of patients receiving tamoxifen and in 91% receiving raloxifene, but a greater proportion had a significant decrease (>50%) with raloxifene (86%) than tamoxifen (41%). No side effects were seen in any patients.

CONCLUSION:
Inhibition of estrogen receptor action in the breast appears to be safe and effective in reducing persistent pubertal gynecomastia, with a better response to raloxifene than to tamoxifen. Further study is required to determine that this is truly a treatment effect.

man my buddy had the same problem and his doctor recently told him to go to the USA and have surgery to remove the access tissue. we are in Canada and can't get shit for surgery like that. I would expect it would be expensive though I'm not sure if he priced it out yet.
