If you follow the recommended daily dosage of a buffered creatine, the average person will absorb it ALL. Monohydrate is nowhere's close. You need twice as much monohydrate to get the same levels as a buffered creatine. However, each body has it's own natural limit of what it can absorb, anymore than that and it's not worth taking. Some people are non-receptors to creatine and don't absorb any. It's all in the body. Overall though, buffered is far more advanced than standard monohydrate as it's absorbed better, with little to no bloating and cramping.
