HCG IM or SubQ

Please forgive me if this has been posted/asked before.

My endo just prescribed a 10,000IU vial of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) dosed as .5ml 3 times a week. He insists that it is IM only. But I've read that you can give it SQ, that is easier to give it SQ and it might absorb better SQ.

So can you take Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) SubQ?

Also what size of needle do you use for SubQ? For IM?

The Rx gave me 22 gauge needles. They are freakin big! I'd like to use something smaller if possible.

Get some slin pins and run it subQ. Pins are so small you won't even feel a poke.

This is how I run mine. easy peasy japo knee zee.

For me: 1\2" 29G .5CC works well. Got in a pinch and used a 5\16" 30g once but I did not care for that. Saving the rest of that bag for Holloween or something.

You can go either way. Guys that go im are doing it because they are coming off a steroid cycle and need to kickstart their sack with 3000iu or more in some cases. This is not relevant if you are practicing the hrt/trt way of life. Stick (ha-ha) to sub-q.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I really want to use a smaller needle.

Hawgslayer, do you use the 29 gauge for IM or SQ?

Also where do you buy your equipment from?

Geek,

I got my pins from the Maximus pharma. Just take your vial in to your local "greens" and tell them what you need. They will fix you up.(unless prohibo in your state) Me I just walk in and asked for inslulin pins. They asked what size and wham bam. No worries, remember that you are not taking illegal drugs.

Yes, I pin this sub Q in my belly.
