HCG Mono Therapy and High E, What AI?

I was on HCG 500IUs 3 times a week for 4 months and only increased my T from 206 to 306, E2 went from 23 to 39.

So I started going to a new Endo, he bumped my dosage to 750IUs 3 times a week. I just got my new results after one month and my total T is now 739 but my E2 jumped from 39 to 106 (before I started any HCG it was 23).

The new endo didn't even order the E2 test but when I found out I asked my primary doctor to order it, cause I knew the HCG could lead to high E (from reading your guys excellent posts on here).

My energy levels are better and the brain fog is gone, but I have zero libido and retaining fluid.

I'm going to have a phone consult with the new Endo this coming week.

In your opinion, what Aromatase inhibitor (AI) should I request? What dosage? Any other advise you can give?

p.s. (FSH and LH are both .5, didn't have a free T or SHGB test)

you should get on board with maximus Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and have your therapy administered properly. 2,250iu/wk of hcg! On an ongoing basis!! Are you kidding me!!! Its no wonder that your e2 is 106 and you are feeling like hootie and the blowfish. Sorry bro, but your "endo" clearly has no idea what he is doing. Is he going to pay for your surgery to remove your gyno when it hits? I doubt it. At this point, you really need some letro, but i'm sure he won't know how to properly have you dose that either. Sorry you are in this position. I've spoke to you more than once about becoming a client and i forget the exact reason, (maybe insurance based) but you still chose to go the other routes. It's unfortunate to see what is happening to you now. We could have had you dialed in by now and looking forward to the new year. Our door is still open if you'd like the proper care and treatment. Thx

You really should get on board with Maximus. That much Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) a week is overboard, unless you just came off a cycle, and even then it's only for a week or two. You are going to burn out your receptors and most likely start to develop gynecomastia. It might seem like a decent quick fix, but it is no long term solution. Chip and Maxmimus specialize in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), your health and well being is always worth the money, and they have reasonable prices.

Hey Chip,

We did talk a few months ago about me going with Maximus and I still may. I have total respect for you, what you do, and how helpful you are with myself and other guys on this forum.

My first endo was a complete idiot and I was hoping by going to a new endo (and supposedly one of the best in the northwest), I would get better treatment. But it has been pretty much the same old song and dance. I'm getting pretty frustrated.

I mainly haven't gone with Maximus because I already feel like I'm being labeled by my primary doctor and edno's as a steroid seeker or physician hopper, (neither of which is true). I've been trying to give "standard" medical treatment a fair shot, especially since I have good insurance that covers most things.

Depending on what comes up in my consult this week, I may be calling you. My wife agrees that if I don't get some solid solution soon, I should get with Maximus. Keep a spot open for me.

bodyofageekgod.....please don't take this like I'm singling you out when I say this. It's just that I've heard the same excuse, to not go with Maximus, over and over again.

Let me start by asking, are all the insurance whiners fucking crazy? I just don't understand the stubbornness in wanting to save a few bucks at the incredible expense of a fucked up life. Am I the only one here that sees the stupidity in this? If I hear one more fool with this stupid fucking excuse I'm gonna blow a gasket.

Here's an idea...slow down to 65 on the highway and you'll save enough on gas money to pay for Maximus. Or quit eating Super Sized Cheeseburger meals and not only will your fat ass shrink, you'll also be able to afford Maximus.

Use what little of your Low T clouded brains you guys have left and come up with any way possible to pay for real HRT. Or don't, and continue through life with a gummy bear for a pecker, the emotions of a menstruating woman, and the energy of an 80 year old man. :dunno:

Apparently you can lead a horse to water, but sometimes you have beat the son-of-a-bitch over the head to make him drink.

Rant over.

Motiv8ed.... You're a funny dude! You get so fired up it almost makes me piss myself! YOU SAID "A GUMMY BEAR FOR A PECKER"! I'm gonna go change my underwear now! Lol
When they are ready to join the TEAM, they will... And we'll be here! Thx guys!!

Ya....well....I was going to say "Gummy Worm", but I didn't think everyone would know what I was talking about. I was very energetic last night when I wrote that. Excuse me if I offended anyone who has an elevated E level. If you don't, you can handle the abusive comments.

I gotta go get a towel. I just ran into a water buffalo. Later.

Motiv8ed, I totally get what your saying and it takes a lot to offend me. Honestly the insurance aspect is the least of my concerns, so perhaps your rant was a little misdirected. But I'm sure you feel better for venting. I have a very good career not a millionaire or anything but good so the money is not a large aspect and I totally agree that you can't put a price tag on your health.

My main concern as I stated in the post above is being black labeled as a steroid seeker, non-compliant patient, or accused of doing something illegal (weither that is true or not).

I've never used steroids, cycled, and rarely ever used any prescribed drug. I'm a pretty fit guy and lead a clean life. But already I have encountered the stereotypical assumptions that I'm cycling or starting to seek steroids. I'm just trying to get back to my optimal self and looking for the right kind of help.

I work with physicians every day as part of my career and I know many of them are idiots who don't think outside of what they read in the standard protocols, but I've also met a few that are willing to go out of their way to help their patients. I've had a hope that I would find such a physician. So far that hasn't worked out.

I deeply appreciate Chip and all of you for sharing your knowledge and experiences. I'm learning as I go here and I hope that we can be patient and keep helping each other.

Who knows by the end of the week I may be calling Chip and you will get to tell me "I f***ing told you so".

Why would anyone label someone seeking legitimate help for a known health condition of low t as a steroid seeker? Its like labeling a diabetic a steroid seeker since he needs the hormone insulin which most likely has more to do with the beyond freakish size of current bodybuilders vs those 10 years ago. WTF. And insulin is a helluva lot more dangerous than testosterone - even with diabetics.

If your primary doc has given you this label, fire his ass and get a new doc who can help. Since you work with docs everyday you know how it works. If money ain't an issue get a concierge doc.

Flippin weird you've found two endos who want to hammer u with Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) doses like that without a rational plan (I.e. see if/how you respond to determine long term course of action). Huge Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) doses long term can send you sideways in many directions - I'm not a doc or expert but it doesn't take one to know this basic info.

Sorry, your posts aren't making a lot of sense to me. Taking a legitimate medical route? Preventing getting a label? Running into stereotypical assumptions you are cycling when u have test scores of 206? Non-compliant patient? Accused of doing something illegal? Perhaps it's just me but I really don't follow you... Or why all this steroid talk. Maybe you look like u just competed in mr Olympia? Seems it should be obvious that if you are struggling this much now and asking advice on educating your endo here, it's going to be an ongoing struggle... Most likely.

Not categorizing geekgod here... Moti8ed didn't really rant IMO - sometimes stating the obvious without beating around the bush is good to weed out the whiners who thrive on self misery (or the few who purposely stir the pot) from the folks serious about a serious condition. Sometimes I think ppl forget there are many, many benefits to Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) besides the obvious libido, motivation and clarity.

Sounds like I'm not the only one confused by the greekgod. The guy is on the verge of getting gyno from pounding Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) like he is at his first frat party, says money not the issue, accused of being a steroid seeker by both his endo and primary care dr, admitts his Dr's are idiots, works with physicians ( but still can't find one to help him) and has known about Maxmius/Chip for months and still searching for HELP !! Some peole just enjoy pain.

I'VE SPOKE TO (THEBODYOFAGEEKGOD) A COUPLE OF TIMES AND WHAT I'M GATHERING IS THAT HE IS JUST AN ULTRA CONSERVATIVE INDIVIDUAL THAT WANTS TO KEEP TRYING NEW THINGS IN ORDER TO FIND A "FIX" TO THE PROBLEM, HOWEVER, WHAT YOU'VE BEEN FINDING IS NOT A FIX. A TRUE FIX, IS FINDING THAT ONE SYNERGISTIC COMBINATION OF THE PROPER MEDICATIONS ADMINISTERED PROPERLY TO MAKE YOU THE YOU THAT YOU CAN BE. BUT BRO, ALL YOU ARE DOING IS FINDING TEMPORARY FIXES(2,250IU/WK) OF Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), THAT CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS (106 E2 LEVELS). YOU ARE A GOOD DUDE AND I JUST DIDN'T WANT YOU TO GET FLAMED TO HARD IN HERE, BUT IF YOU CONTINUE TO MAKE THOSE KINDS OF DECISIONS, THERE ISN'T MUCH THAT I, OR ANY OF THE OTHER BRO'S IN HERE CAN DO TO HELP YOU. AND IF YOU DO JUMP ON THE TEAM BY THE END OF THE WEEK.... FANTASTIC! NO ONE IS GOING TO SAY, "SEE I F****** TOLD YOU SO". WE DON'T WORK LIKE THAT OVER HERE. WE ARE TRULY A TEAM AND WE ALL HELP EACH OTHER GET BETTER. HELL, I'LL TELL OUR DOCS TO STAR YOU OFF ON THE MOST BASIC, TRIPLE CONSERVATIVE PROTOCOL YOU WANT, IF THAT IS WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO GET YOU DOING THINGS PROPERLY. YOU JUST SAY THE WORD, CHIEF. BUT, IN THE MEAN TIME, GOOD LUCK. ITS 7:30 AM EST AND I HAVE TO GO OVER TO THE XXX-FORUM AND CHECK OUT SOME OF ZEEK'S ASS WORK ON MY I-PAD! GREATEST INVENTION EVER...... I GET TO TYPE OUT A HELPFUL RESPONSE TO A MEMBER, ONE SECOND, THEN GO RUB ONE OUT, THE NEXT!!!!!!!:dance2::wackit:

I didn't intend to make other guys annoyed just by posting what is going on with me or asking questions. I apologize if I've annoyed any of you.

Chip pegged me pretty well. I am very conservative and a planner (perhaps to a fault). It's in my nature to try and find solutions. I've had the hope that I could find a physician that I could have a professional relationship with and would know how to treat me appropriately. But Chip is right, so far all I've gotten from them are partial fixes (that may be making things worse), which is very frustrating.

Just so you guys know (if you care)

1. I don't enjoy pain, I never play the victim, and I don't purposely try to stir any pots.
2. I don't look like Mr. Olympia, just an average guy (a little over weight and trying to improve that)
3. My primary doctor has been very understanding but admits doesn't know how to treat me.
4. The first endo I was referred to was a real jerk and the one that started assuming I was a steroid seeker (or past user) even though I was just trying to get treatment. I fired him but I'm concerned that those comments maybe part of my medical record.
5. My new endo is supposedly an expert in the field and professor at U of W, he listened to my concerns but frankly hasn't offered any different solutions than the first endo.
6. I've done lots of research (and your posts have been a big help), but I still don't know everything so I ask questions.

Again sorry if I was unclear or annoyed any of you.

not annoyed, but you need your E level handled. What your doing is not working, try something else. You can have a conservative program, but your not really being conservative at a 106 level of E
