HCG - pain during/after injection

I have only injected oil-based products until now. HCG is part of my post cycle therapy (pct) and is the first water-based product I have ever injected.

I feel a burning, sometimes sharp pain whenever I inject it. I thought it might be because it is going in faster that the oil (I use 25g needles so the oil goes in reeealy slow) but the shot I just took a couple minutes ago was really slow and really hurt.

Its not because its cold - I keep it refrigerated but I always let it warm up in the syringe for 3 or 4 hours before injecting.

I don't draw with the same needle I inject with.

If it makes a difference, this HCG is made by InterVet

Anyone else every experience this, or am I just a pussy.

I use a 5/8' 29g slin pin as well. I shoot it cold straight out the fridge sub-q in my ass cheek.
It stings a little bit but it goes away after a few minutes so it's no biggy for me.

every brand of hcg I have ever used has stung like hell...
honestly if you are shooting it sub-q and it doesnt hurt I would have to wonder if it really is hcg

I agree w mofo, hcg i get each vial 5000iu, I delute it to get first shot at 500iu to kick start and 250iu ed and usually my Cojones are Swol in less than a week.. Always in belly fat right out of fridge. Are you doing more than that? I know some people kick start with higher doses in less bac water so that may cause a burn.

i also use a 29 guage slin pin, inject in abdominal fat, and have never had any pain. i mix 10,000 i.u.'s with 10 cc of bs water.

Oh, I've been shooting it IM in the same spot I shot the gear. I should have done more research. I will get some 29g needles.

The shots I took in the muscle should still work though, right?

yes, they should. but if you are switching to 29 gauge insulin pins, you'll want to start injecting sub-q since the insulin pins aren't really long enough to do an deeper, IM injection.
