HCG Question

My buddy was on for about six months straight and has been off for 7 months now. He did not use hcg during or after, but did use clomid and nolva for his pct. He was asking me, should he use some hcg now, because he did notice some atrophy. Would this help now or would it hurt his recovery? I guess my question is, what would be the pros and cons of doing the hcg so late?

Has he had any recent blood work done to check his testosterone levels? That is the first thing that I would do. I wouldn't bother with HCG at this point, but if his test levels are low there are some options for him depending on his individual circumstances (which should be discussed with his doctor).

Yes, his blood work results came back fine. He was just concerned with his testicle size. He wanted to know if his testicles would go back to normal size, if he did a few weeks of hcg?

If i were him, I'd run HCG in is next cycle.
I agree and if his testes aren't back to normal, with normal blood tests, he may have other problems.

How old is he? If he's under 25, his nuts may be normal already or should I say as normal as they're going to get.

If he has normal hormones, but his testes are still small, he should see a Dr

He is 33, and his labs are okay, but he says his nuts look smaller. Maybe it's in his head? What other problems could it be JB?

I don't know, at his age I don't see anything that could be, but you are probably right, it's in his head

Yeah, I think it might be in his head. I mean, if his blood test results (assuming total and free testosterone were tested), then his balls are producing testosterone.

Many guys think their stuff is bigger than it is, too.....
