HCG - Questions for Canadians

Hello everyone, I finally convinced my Doctor to prescribe me HCG for my testicle shrinkage. I've been using a underground version that seems to work well, but wanted that script for the real thing. No idea if mine is the right dosage etc.

Right now I take HCG at 250IU two days before my injection, as well as the day before. So 500 IU a week. My pharmacist says he can only get it in 10,000 IU vials. So once reconstituted, he tells me it only lasts 30 days. I've read it lasts 60-90 days as long as refrigerated.

So in this case, I'd use about 2500 IU in 30 days, and have to throw out the 7500 IU.

Best case I'd use 7500 IU in 90 days and throw out 2500 IU.

This stuff if pretty expensive.

Does anyone know of any Canadian pharmacies that can get 5000 IU vials?

Why not put it all into syringes and freeze it? You can thaw it out in the fridge a week before you need it.

I would draw it into individual insulin pins at the dosage you take (250iu per syringe) then freeze them. Put them in the fridge the night before. Hell I've pulled them out of the freezer and just let them sit out for a few minutes. That little bit of liquid thaws very fast. I wouldn't draw it all into one syringe, and back load other syringes. I tried that it doesn't work well AT ALL with HCG. You get droplets all through the syringe, and it never comes back together. As you're pushing the plunger back in it's spitting little bits out of the needle along with the air.

That's a great idea. I forgot I had read you could do that. I do remember it sounding more complicated as to where you place it in the freezer to ensure it does not thaw and freeze again. Knowing freezer temperature.

Any thoughts on that?

Would it be OK if I split it into a second sterilized vial and froze that after reconstituted? Just take out the second vial to thaw 5000 iu once the first one is finished? (Pre loading 20-40 syringes sounds like a real drag.)

I just preloaded 20 syringes, it is not really all that bad. But I see no reason why you cannot freeze a second, larger, container.

Thanks so much, I'm concerned a glass vial may crack of frozen, so I'll do the 20 syringes or more and go from there. So glad I can get the real thing now and see if it is better than UGL.

I don't know about domestic hcg @ 5000 iu vials but I get pharma hcg in 5000 iu vials. Not domestic but for the price being cheaper than most ugls I never bothered to get a script. Just get 50-100k iu at a time and you're good for long time.

How much is legit pharma hcg? Is there a healthcare discount?

I personally have never had any issues with losing potency in the fridge. I have even left reconstituted hcg in room temp for two weeks with no degradation and still dropped the nuts!!

Freezing is your best route like 3j suggests if you don't think you'll use it all in 30-60 days.

You will see a difference in pharma hcg, I have yet to see a ugl make a consistently potent hcg. Although this lab I'm tryin atm seems to be amazing, so I doubt the hcg will disappoint me.

I'm in Whitby, Ontario. My Doc is a HRT specialist, and really has no idea what he is doing. He seems to specialize in menopause and not TRT. He is not GP and my GP wanted nothing to do with monitoring my bloodwork. I have to pay him per visit, but it is worth it as we are down to 2 times a year visits.

I've been told a urologist or and endocrinologist is a better way to go, but I went this route.

So are you on TRT now and the doc refuses to add HCG? Does he prescribe an AI?

I tried to be honest with my doc. told him I am starting a test E cycle ...etc. and instead gave me a lecture on side effects and how this is going to destroy me. you know that rest.
