HCG Questions

Reading Dr. Crisler's website I came across this info.

"My HCG protocol is to use 250IU of HCG two days before, and one day before,
their testosterone cypionate IM injection. The HCG is injected with an insulin needle, subQ within 6 inches of the
navel."

Would I benefit more from this protocol or just injecting HCG 1 day prior to my Testosterone injections.

Need more info.

What is your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) protocol? And also, what is the Cypionate (TRT) protocol for this hCG recommendation?

On a sides note, Dr. Crisler is very knowledgeable and a pioneer in TRT. Im familiar with this protocol but at the moment i cannot recall the logistics behind this recommendation. However, each individuals testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is subject to scrutinization. And perhaps the two days before and one day after hCG protocol will not benefit you "more". Twice, or three times per wk, may be fine for you and your situation.

I'm was on 150mg testosterone cypionate per week. Clinic only gave me 1 shot per week. No HCG and I was on 1.5mg arimidex per week. I have just started doing self injections this week finally. 75mg test c every 3.5 days. Just looking for best recommendations on the hcg. I've read numerous people do HCG 1 day prior to test shots.

How are you going to do hcg two days before your injection and one day after your injection when you are injecting every 3.5 days? Logistics don't seem to work out.

One day prior to Test shots is perfect for twice wkly injects. hCG peaks @ 72 hours after administration. And conversely, Test levels peak at 24 hours. Maintaining stability is always key to a stable bloods. Speaking of which, have you had any past or recent bloods to support any of the protocols with the above (Test, Aromatase inhibitor (AI), hCG)?

Had blood work last week at the clinic I was going to. I wasn't on HCG then as the clinic wouldn't prescribe it. Now I'm somewhere new and get to use HCG.

Thanks for the responses. Just wanted to make sure. Here is what I'm doing starting tonight.

Sunday Morning-HCG 250iu
Monday Morning-Test Cyp 80mg
Tuesday-Arimidex .5mg

Wednesday Night-HCG 250iu
Thursday Night-Test Cyp 80mg
Friday-Arimidex .5mg

What the protocol actually calls for is hCG both of the days prior to injection. Dr Chrisler's protocol is a 7 day protocol. Whether people realize it or not, the 3.5 dy protocol recommended here is actually Chrisler's protocol split in half. My personal experience had been that I'd feel great on the two back to back hCG injections but I would break out terribly.

We have found, with most of our clients, that taking your HCG dose 2 days before your T injection and 3 days after works best.

For example, patient A takes his testosterone injection on Wednesday so his HCG injections will be on Sat and Mon.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your response.

If the patient was on T injections i assume that he was advised to split up his required dose into two injects per wk to maintain stable bloods. If this is the case and one of his injects was on Sat as you suggest, when would his next inject be in the wk? You see where im going with this? 2 days before and 3 days afterwards is impossible with a twice weekly protocol of TRT.

However you could run the 2 days before 3 days after protocol, if the patient was only injecting once per wk. But who does that these days with all the data available on the importance of maintaining stable bloods?

Thoughts?
