HCG regimen with a SERM redundant?

Hey guys,
My doc is putting me on an HCG regimen to bring my T levels back into normal range. I asked him about HCG suppression on HPTA and he said that as an analogue of LH it's going to bring LH down, implying that when you come off LH comes back up. That has me wondering: Is running a SERM like nolva or tamox to keep LH up redundant or should you be running it post HCG?

My doc said you only needed it if you're developing E2 related sides. What're your guy's thoughts? I've got some nolva laying around and I wanna play things safe.
