Here's an unusual problem.....

I'm a big believer in squats and the heavy compound movements. Problem is that
I'm getting a bit too big in the waist than I'd like (pants are getting tighter).

I'm not too big (255, 6ft 2), but would like to maintain symmetry. One suggestion has been high rep squats (with lighter weights) which I plan on doing.

Any other abdomen specific movements I should be doing to make the waist come in nice and tight ?

Thanks in advance,
Charles

ask your parents for better genetics maybe...lol

Not too much you can do about that. I squat and dead heavy and haven't noticed any increase in my midsection.

Yeah, wish I had your genetics outlaw you lucky bastard :D LOL

Seriously, I think that you may be the exception. Have a look at most PLs who
squat and dead big. Their waists aren't exactly nice and tight. I look like a thick PL or a linesman and want my waist to look a bit like the quarterback's :)

here. pullinbig's pic. he's a bad ass powerlifter and has came down from 300+ margin to 260+ pounds. of course, posted without his permission..rofl

That's just about what my back looks like (maybe wider and without the tats :) ) , but what I was referring to was the front (not the back) where your stomach bulges out a bit due to the abdominal pressure required when doing squats/deads. That's what I want to bring in.

Thanks for the pic
