I would like to ask the populace here about "How did steroids change your life'?

I'm curious about the good and the bad...

Did you transform to a better version of who you are, did you change completely,or did it change you for the worst?

Your stories, please share!

I did my 1 st runh lol in 1982 as a senior in HS and 2 AForce guy s that were god like ( I was 17) got me some human grade dianobol...and I blew up shrank and repeated this 3 time s.
Fast forward 4 years I m doing a gram of this , that and oral s but was placing or winning meets. 1989 won a show shelved lifting and though lifting was still a part of my life work was first.

After Katrina I had 1/2 the recguired test 110 of 220 being minimum and started trt. I think they hastened my medical condition but I m not blaming anyone.

I was well known for my strength and my GPA too so...
Most really smart guy s I hang with are gym rats.
I think they helped.
I was a total dick while on comp doses so...they enhanced who I was / am / will always be.

No regrets here.

I deal with obsession
Recovering alkie
People can knock all they want about switching from one substance to steroids but it has kept me in the gym off the booze and alc for 4 years
Atleast i am not walking around all drunk at 2pm and wondering why i cant function with the drugs or alc in me
So yes it changed my shit habbits into dieting and obsessing over the gym

Well going from the ex alchoholic/junkie(and I mean low down robbing, theiving, mugging to get my next fix bottom of the barrel junkie) to the family man I am today( trust me, I didn't always look/act like this), I'd say going to the gym and working out is a strong part of my recovery program. I have to be very careful, tread lightly if u will as to not get wrapped up with AAS the way I know the addict in me can. From the abuse the drugs did to my body I found out thru blood work that my TT numbers were waaayy low. So my intro to this world was by becoming a TRT patient. I've been clean and sober a couple years and the gym is my therapy session, both for mental and physical reasons. Being on TRT, also, is part of my recovery plan. It keeps my blood levels stable which helps my overall state of well being good, among other positives. That said, "steroids" in the form of TRT has helped me to be the man my family needs me to be and depends on today. I will continue this journey.

Good work brother

My background is pretty normal. Normal family (besides a thieving, addict sister). Mild depression, mild-moderate anxiety, always the small skinny guy with little confidence, took a lot of shit from people and let off steam in private, aggression issues starting around puberty. But nothing out of normal life issues. Never got heavy into drugs, never was an alcoholic but was definitely a heavy drinker from 18-23-ish.

Since using AAS....

Pros:
-Confidence up the ass
-Much more attention from females
-People respect me
-I take ZERO shit
-My temperament has leveled out (still have my moments)
-Biggest, most aesthetic out of 90% of the people I know
-Learned a ton about the human body which led me to research other aspects of biology so I can school people on facebook :)
-have been overall more successful due to increase in confidence and motivation
-gave me a strong sense of discipline
-bedroom activities....nuff said
-there's probably a million more pros I can't think of at the moment.

Cons:
-People look at you like a junkie if they suspect AAS use.
-libido makes it difficult to stay faithful and can lead to sexual dissatisfaction with only one partner.
-too much confidence can make you a jerk sometimes
-people like to challenge you for some reason.....

Well thank you boss! Lol. It's funny, sometimes the way people look at me these days. I mean just being seen a normal member of society. I love not being looked at and treated as a criminal today. After I first got sober I cut off about five pounds of hair....lol. I got with my lady well after I was sober a while and she never saw me in my hayday....I plan to keep it that way. She would disown me for sure if not. This forum has helped me tremendously attain my workout/physique goals. She very much appreciates that.

i got married extremely young, my wife got hotter I got fat, like 5/10 260 fat. she stuck with me, gear has finally helped me give my wife what i think she deserves. 5'10 220 10%bf.

+confidence, i say effing the first thing that comes to my mind(I have to apologize 1/2 the time,
+ great libido
+ i feel happier, i use to have a pretty short fuse, my temperament has improved

Thanks B. Means a lot. Its been a rough road at times and still can be.
Man giving up an addiction is one of the hardest things to do in life and it doesn't really matter what you were addicted to I still have the occasional cig once every blue moon but there isn't a day that goes by that after I have a meal I don't feel like a smoke the urge is always there
It's easy for things to spiral out of control then bang your stuck in that rut again going around in circles
I do joke about smoking a little bit of green on here but even with that I have to keep a close eye myself not to let it creep up on me the same as aas I could just as easily become somewhat addicted to this. You've just gotta know yourself and be able to pull it up when a problem starts to raise its head but I don't need to tell you anything about that I'm sure you know your a good man the world could do with more people like you.
