I know this is true too, I've heard it many times before... Why is this though?

Your body will try to seek an equilibrium of sorts in that with leg development your arms will grow as well. The empirical evidence is there, all of the heavy squatters in our gym also have big arms. Squats are the best overall body exercise.

ok.....im gonna go against the grain and ask this question....

Does anyone else think that maybe hes too young to be blasting his body like that?

i was thinking the same thing as soon as i read his post but for his age, his arms are pretty big i think. if he doesnt overtrain himself then im sure he will undoubtfuly grow. but he most likely just stunt his growth.

For 15 years old its not bad, if it were not for his height. Just make sure to train your whole body, and eat consistently. Maybe a few people here grow in one spot and not others, I dont understand that because if I am growing in one place I am growing everywhere, my body grows as a whole based on FOOD intake. When I was your age I lifted and didn't know anything about diet, I thought it was crap. A little protein and heavy training and I somehow thought the mass would come from thin air, no wonder I hit a plateu just like you, for years in a row. I eventually got stuck in the 17s, until I started counting my calories.

Mudge,

Many folks have bodyparts, or even body sections that don't grow along withthe rest of the bod, even when worked right, but yes, you are generally correct that when most everything is growing you are on the right track.

My calves are smaller than my neck and arms (not too badly thankfully) but yeah, I grow as a whole. I think too many people think in terms early on of "what do I need to concentrate on" instead of just hitting everything hard, unless someone is very poorly developed in an obvious way, too many (young guys especially) just want arms.

To take it a step further, how many people ask "how do I get bigger biceps?" When most of the arm is tricep. ;)

So maybe I'm lucky, everything on me is stubborn!

a good pump dont mean anything cept you got blood in your arms. thats a poor way to judge whether or not something is working.

So true... You get a pump in your forearms from riding a bike, but Lance Armstrong doesn't exactly look like Popey does he?

nate try some deads and squats after you start to bring the weight up on them a little bit youll see your biceps will start to grow. like the others said dont overtrain your arms ive learned less is better.
