How Heavy?

in my heyday i had a few i was pretty good at, shrug 800 for reps, curl 100lb dbells for reps, deadlift 650 sumo, im 6 8 so the "pull" was there but my "push" was terrible, 275 for 2 was the most i ever benched, in the process i wrecked every joint i have and my spine is pretty well fused, when youre young, drinking every day and full of endorphins its tough to notice, if i had it over id like to think id have used better form and about half the weight, anybody know any good chiros in san diego?

Well, I've got 17" arms, weigh only 222, and my max bench (PR, haven't touched it since) is 365. I do very well to strict curl 115x5 (at the end of my back/bi's workout.......my ONE lift [two sets] of bi work) or, the last time I did 'em, skullcrushers with 135x8 kicked my ass.

I'm gonna say that your friend is full of shit.

damn 6-8 and pull 650, not bad. where was you squats at?

455/4, i never tried getting under any more than that cuz squatting, more than once, was the closest i ever came to a hernia, im getting a phantom burn in my lower abdomen just thinking about it

curling ain't "lifting" as far as I'm concerned.
overrated.

Wonder why nobody likes to talk about the weight they use but are full of advice. I know weight is relative but I would listen more to a guy lifting twice what I lift rather than a guy who lifts half of what I lift. Just that simple.
