Hi everyone, I am new to steriodology, but i have been using steroids on and off for the past two years, i have gotten good results but my chest is lacking the size and defintion i would like too achieve. I have tried many different workouts and many different stacks to get there but i can't. I have come to the conclusion that i may be over working or not working enough my chest. I am currently using 2 mls-deca 250 and 2 mls-test enanthate 250 a week and 4-10 mg dinabols a day, does anyone have any insight on how often and how hard i should hit my chest, any help would be much appreciated thanks.

It seems that recovery rates can vary from person to person and from workout to workout really. Anywhere from as low as 4 days all the way up to 7 days apart I would say is the norm for most. As for myself it is 5-6 days apart all depending on my schedule. I hit mine pretty hard for the most part going heavy on most days in the 4-6 range. On my last set I shouldn't even be able to do 4. Of course some days I am just not feeling it so I will throw in a day where my rep range is 8-12 What type of things have you tried for your routine? How long are you allowing for recovery now? How many sets are you doing?

Also WELCOME TO OLOGY! What are your stats? Like Age, Weight, Height, bodyfat %, etc etc.

Welcome, as stated above..please give is some information about yourself. Without stats and what you currently are doing for chest, etc. there is no way for us to answer this question properly.

If you feel like you are not working your chest enough then you are probly working it too much..

For a long time I was working biceps way to hard and to often before someone pointed out the fact that I was over working them and they were at a stand still... They just didn't get bigger !

Like was said above.. Hit it every 4-5 day of the week will do what you want over time. There's no recipe for this.. You need to listen to your body and become a machine.

good posts above.

i do chest once per week thats fine for me, after a good chest workout dorian yates style i ache for 3 sometimes 4 days.

You should check form first and not think it is steroids.

I know a shitload of people that use front delts and tri'c too much just to try and lift as much weight as possible...

form is the key without a doubt.

if your using momentum from the first few reps then your going to heavy and the weight needs to be droped, i try to keep form untill the end of the set without any momentum at all, thats why a good spoter is crucial.

Its also all about mind muscle connection aswell, focus on what muscle your trying to work and dont explode the weights up and bounce them back of your chest, the weight needs to be controled and as much tension kept on the muscle your trying to work ...its a complete waiste of time bouncing weights of your chest etc imo, i suppose if your trying to train your ego and not your muscles, then go for it.

also just because the positive has went to failure the negotive will still have reps left and a set isnt complete to me untill i have went to total failure.

Thanks forthe welcoming and getting back to me guys, I am 25, 6 ft 2 inches or about 194 cm and i weigh 95 kg atm (my last cycle i was on trenbolone, propionate and hgh taking 4 iu's 5 days a week for 10 weeks and i was up to 104 kg) but i've been doing muay thai in thailand for 3 months so dropped most of that weight. I am not sure about my body fat % but i am not carring too much fat, but a little as i am trying to bulk atm, I have only been on this cycle for 4 weeks so i am only just starting to see results.

My old chest workout was as follows:

16 sets

4x flat bench or dunbell press

4x incline bench or dunbell press or incline hammer strength machine

4x flies or cable crossovers,

4x dunbell pulloverstoo finish,

sometimes i would throw in some pushups atthe end if i felt up for it.

A friend of mine said i was doing to much so i have started a new routine which is only:

3x flat bench or dunbell press

3x incline bench or dunbell press or incline hammer strength machine

3x flies,

i always do triceps at the end of my chest workouts aswell

Thanks again.

personally i dont see any benefit on chest from flat bench yes it does work your chest but its more of a compound movement, so i have laid off it for the last few month and my chest is coming on nicely.

routine..

Hammer Machine 3 sets (great first exercise for warming up and getting some blood into the chest)

Incline dumbell 3 sets

Decline Barbell 3 sets

Incline Flys 3 Sets

Cable Flys 1 Set To Failure

13 sets total, takes 40 mins max. every last set i do its to complete failure a good spotter is needed.

like i said earlier my chest will ache for 3-4 days after this routine. love it.

Thanks guys i do try too keep good form but i think i loose concentration a bit through out my workout, i will try dropping the weight i am lifting and do as you suggested, concentrate on using my chest. I currently don't have a training partner as i am travelling (but he is meeting me in a month) so i struggle to get those last reps out that i would like too. Thanks for the insight so far, i will put it all into action asap. I can already tell i am going to love this sight.

just ask someone in the gym to spot you they wont mind, but explian to them how you want to be spotted.

get your hands on blood and guts by dorian yates and watch his form and how he trains and put that into practice. best thing i ever done.
