How to train/eat to maintain before script update?

Started Androgel @ 5gms daily 3.5 months ago, and life has never been better...until recently.

Been feeling a little down, almost to the point of before testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). About 6 weeks into testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) (@ months ago), I was still producing natty test, and with the gel I was at a solid 500 ng/pl with e2 and everything else in check.

Got my own bloods done recently to discover that I'm now shutdown, and the gel is leaving me lower than I started (blood drawn 24hrs after application, 30minutes before my daily dose). I'm shutdown.

This is expected, and my uro will (as in, he better) double my gel dosage or give me cyp finally.

The problem is, I'm not due for another 3 weeks. Due to my college finals, moving, insurance, and graduation, there is literally no way for me to get in any earlier.

How likely is it that I will lose a decent amount of muscle mass and/or gain fat during the next 3 weeks, assuming I'll be training the same and eating at maintenance?

Should I be doing anything different, or just continue powering through until my appointment, even though I feel like death in the gym?

Yes I know, I wouldn't have these problems with Chip. It's not an option for me, so please don't suggest it, even though you are right.

How high was your e2? Gel is a criminal form of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) as you obviously now know. When I tried it I got to the point where I could tar and feather myself with that stuff and still feel like crap just after a couple days of using it. Shit I'd pick up some yohimbe and tribulus and macuna pruriens and load up on that twice a day, I bet you'd feel better on that than gel and have less estrogen stress for the couple weeks until you get cypionate. I just remember feeling absolutely nothing from the gel...it was horrible. Sorry you had to go through that, it is in no way shape or form representative of proper testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Muscle loss over that short period of time is going to have more to do with metabolism than anything. Just eat a lot I guess.
