if a healthy male produce 42-49 test per week, why +100mg test considered as trt dose

100mg test e=70mg test, right?
well that's at least ~20mg more than what a healthy male produce .
so why most dr prescribe 100 or even more mgs of test for their patients?

P.S: I understand the ester weight and i know everyone is different (that's the beauty of being everyone :nerd: ) .

well, the most honest answer is that if you're going to be on TRT, you might as well be at the top of the normal range instead of 550 ng/dl.

why we should be at top of the normal range? we're not in our puberty anymore and don't need that much test. there's a reason for test levels to drop as we age .
5 weeks ago i lowered my dose from 80mg to 60mg test per week and i'm surprised how every thing has changed since then .
no more ED, zero bloat and water retention , no need for AI , feeling great 24/7.
60mg test puts me at 500-600 ng. past this dose and an AI is a must for me to bring down elevated e2 and if i don't take any, i become a sexually dysfunctional bloated moody little bitch with greasy skin .
lots of people on trt complain about their situation. not feeling their best, low libido etc. they increase test, change AI dose, take supplement and so on to correct all of those problem.
but no one decrease test to natural levels to see how they react .

I actually agree with you, I was just letting you know. On a board geared towards illegal aas use, there is a slant towards bodybuilding/powerlifting. Some people are just looking to run a legal steroid cycle.

I actually would think people on long term trt should try to titrate their dose down over time if they truly want to be healthy.

You don't see it on this site, but there are others more slanted to TRT where you see guys titrate their doses down, like T Nation.

For me personally 100 mg/wk E plus 500 HCG puts my test at 630 ish day of the next shot, which felt pretty much fine to me. I agree that more requires AI, and that is pretty much a drag in and of itself.

FWIW next thing I'm going to play around with it 100 mg/wk test prop ED or EOD. Just to see how I feel and how E2 responds.

So, 100mg basically has you always in the upper third of natural range (say 630-900 ish).

That helps explain why so many guys on 150mg get issues with high rbc.

I have elevated aromatase from medications so I will have different results. 80mg wk had me at 440 ng/dL and I was taking 10mg asin a day. I had elevated E issues pre TRT and I ran around the 400 range with E at the top end of the spectrum and grew tits slowly. I was technically inside the ranges. Any range I have found. Either general range of 400-900 ng/dL to more age group specific ranges
Knowing the feeling of those levels I was pre-TRT with lower estrogen.

My meds also have slowly pushed my SHBG just above range.

I went to 100mg wk (50mg 2x wk) and switched to letro once a wk. 1.25mg (Sunday) with HCG 500iu 2x wk between test injections and feel better. All nipple sensations went away. Penis sensitivity is better and cumming isnt so hard. I've gotten yard work done and havent felt the crash of exhaustion

Now pre med comparison . . . . I'm not nearly as lean, vascular, motivated, libido is garbage compared to then and I used to have to constantly fight an erection thinking about the wife. 10 times a day. My morning wood was so hard I had had to wait to piss. My endurance for hard labor is garbage.

I cant remember where and will probably never find the reference but injected testosterone isnt as effective /potent per dose as our natural testosterone. Our bodies work best with their own products. Even taking the loss of the ester and actual test.

Testosterone levels in men of all ages has been shown to be falling.

But I do agree trying to hold higher levels definitely will lead to issues. In the very first way is the body processing the steroid ester and the AI themselves.

I personally will just run a cycle before I ran 900ng/dL TRT long term. I also dont have to donate blood every chance I get. My RBC and stuff takes a while to slowly creep up. I went 6 months without donating and had finally gotten to the top of range. Only two things outside ranges were SHBG and the levels of my medication to stop seizures.

"... there's a reason for test levels to drop as we age..."

I think there's an interesting question here. Clearly, evolution and/or biology has determined that testosterone levels fall as we age.

But is there actually a good reason for this? Logic suggests that evolution stops caring about us once we have passed reproductive age. Maybe in a group-evolutionary sense, it is to the tribe's advantage if the older males do not compete for females with the younger males. Maybe it was a group advantage to have the old lose muscle mass and have lower caloric requirements. Maybe there's a link between anabolism and carcinogenesis that confers a group-survival advantage to groups where the older members survive longer to support the breeding members.

Or maybe there is no real reason - it's just that we are living far beyond the age that was typical throughout our evolution.

I think this question is at the very heart of anti-aging medicine.
