Long time member and havent signed onto this site in many years. When i was 40 yrs old I was in the best shape of my life. Was throwing up 315 on the bench, body fat 8%, etc.

Im now a 44 1/2 year old out of shape cigarette smoking fat ass. I almost don't know where to begin BUT I am beginning. I cannot stand how fat I've gotten. I'm ashamed to say that I haven't worked out in at least 3 years. Been trying to survive this horrid economy and working harder and longer than ever before. Good news is that the income is coming back but I hate the way i look and feel.

I know this has to change if I want to be around for my wife and kids. When i was most motivated in my life i was a regular member of ology and so seeing this site still up and going strong after all this time was a great surprise.

I'm looking forward to the great advice this site has always had to offer. Hopefully i will be able to recall as much of what I remember to share with all of you as well although I'm sure a lot has changed.

Thanks

Jim

Nice man, I quit lifting for about 5 years secondary to some fucked up work issues, started drinking way to much and even started smoking wtf??? pick up cigs at like 29??

anyway, quit that shit started lifting again and now been back at it for about 2 years. Changes happen fast.

Priorities got all out of wack, it happens.

Just do one day at time

Welcome back !
Is good to have old members come back !

Don't feel ashamed for letting yourself go, remember is never to late to make a change, sometimes life takes us in different directions & we loose track of our journey.

The important thing is to acknowledge this & take the first step to make a change... And you jsut did ! :)

Welcome back on board.

I too am older, fatter than I ever was but hey..it happens.

Good crew here,..as far as mod s go I m overrated, but I try.

I m glad to have you..we need a geriatric section for us eh ???

40yrs myself & dumped 35lbs of Goo already. 227 & heading down to 200 lbs. Diet hard & remember the basics always work. 8yrs off & I'm planning on doin the masters class in 2011....GIVE EM HELL OLD MAN !!!!!!

Thank you all very much for making me feel welcome. This site is so motivating and the members and mods are great. I cannot wait to get back in shape but I know it will take time. I am not running anything until I get into a healthy pattern and lose the lard. Then I will consider something. I have heard the new HGH peptide is great for fat loss but I dont know enough about it. For now i plan on getting my ass into some serious cardio and lifting. Thanks again everyone. So looking forward to it man
