so that means you do have an infection.

uggghhhh.

Apparently man. Must be bacteria in the gear I had. I'm not wasting my time with it, I tossed it. It's a pretty minor infection though, almost 24 hrs after first anti biotics and my arms already less sore and less swollen. I'll be back 100% in now time. I'm ordering antibiotics for this cycle coming up... But I've heard GP gear is smooth, no problems.

Stupid question, but Why cant you just tell the DR. you took steroids?

I live in Canada too, and my buddy straight up told his dr he was taking/gonna take steroids and she couldnt do shit about it.

life insurance, health insurance= your fucked.

and dont tell me the privacy thing. they make you sign over right so they can look at med recoreds and if you dont they deny you anyway.
all you need to say is you where buildign somthign or waling thre bunch of bushes and ether got a wood bit stuck in you or a nail.
soamny things you could say.

even from a b12 shot that you forgot to swab or somthing.

As to having fish-flex, its a great idea. I dont know why more people, especially people injecting themselves do not have antibiotics on hand just for this very possibility.
Fish-flex is ok, sounds like he actually got a prescription for keflex which is the same antibiotic as fish-flex except for humans not a fish tank.
I went on vacation for a month a couple of years ago and bought the fish-flex, damn if I didnt get sick, and dammit more that it was not a bug that keflex would treat. Coughing til I saw stars after the first week wondering why it wasnt responding to the keflex until I got back and picked up zpack, gone in 3 days.

Now I have 10 zpacks of azithromycin on hand just in case I get a painful red injection site. Save the $$ of a doctors or Er visit and I have a high deductible.
Bought the human grade version for a little bit more than the fishflex about 60$ from 4rx and they mailed it from India, took 3 weeks.
But here's the thing, if I bought the same amount of 500mg tabs of azithromycin from drugstore.com its 400$.
I highly recommend just ordering some antibiotics to have on hand, just like people do if they see gyno symptoms they have something on hand to take just in case. 60$ and this is like 10 courses of zpack therapy, far cheaper than a doctor or er visit and no need to make up a story that you got hit by neighbor kid's errant blowdart

hey man, wanted to check in and see how you're doing

Appreciate it man. This is my sixth day on the antibiotics, arm is completely back to normal. Some bruising from the lump that was there, that's it. Feels good being back to normal. Hit the gym hard friday, and again today. My legit gear should be in sometime this week. Can't wait for a clean injection! It was insanely expensive though... Better be paying for quality lol.

Canada has free health care :D. Might stock up on anti biotics on my next order.

Thanks. Well I wouldn't be posting on here for advice if I didn't think some of you guys had the experience. Appreciate everything.

If you've got extreme pressure from the build up of fluid, I would think you could feel it if you are paying attention.

Worst case scenario, the doctors would aspirate it..basically clean the area with alcohol and stick a needle into it to let the infected build up of fluid escape. Its a painful experience because there will be enflamed nerve endings in your skin in that area due to the infection, and it will hurt when they stick you, but bring great relief when the infection gets released.

If the product you used was clean, your skin & vial cap was cleaned with alcohol, and the needle was fresh, there's no reason for an infection. It could merely be a sensitivity to the volume of fluid you used or a hyper sensitivity to the preservative in the product. ...

I understand this. But 3 days after starting the antibiotics my arm was pretty much back to normal. This must mean it was an infection of some sort? Because there was no surface signs of an infection, that must mean it was bacteria in the gear? From my understanding anyways, correct me if I'm wrong.

Not always.

Sometimes its an inflammed reaction to the gear, sometimes its cellutitus(from own skin) and finally sometimes its a gear(bacteria) infection.

At least from my "research".

Ok I've been reading this thread, and I think what cheappinz said relaxs me a little. I shot my thigh for the first time on Tuesday, everything felt good, I sterilized very heavily due to my glute shot leaving me a lot of swelling and pain. Well this shot left me heavily swelling from the point of injection down to my knee. I've been icing and taking ibu like a champ, if this is normal are there any other suggestions you would give me as far as healing. PS I'm really pissed i can't do legs today. Also it took almost 7 days and the glute swelling and pain is gone.
