Is there a "best time of day" to get blood done??

Just wondering if there is a time of day that is better to get blood done to assure more accurate numbers? I'll be going for blood either tomorrow or Friday and was curious about this.

if your fasting it makes sence to go as early as possible. That way you dont have to starve until your later appointment.

Usually they want a 12 hour fasting, so morning is the most practical. More importantly do all your tests at the same time and on the same day of your injection schedule (example inject on monday, test thursday) otherwise your numbers will be off when you compare one blood test to another

These guys are right about it being easiest to go in the morning if you are fasting.

I don't know if it really makes much sense to go later in the day to just get a lower T reading. The results will likely have the time printed on them. Any doc who really knows TRT is going to know that your levels drop through the day. If you are seeing someone who is ignorant enough to be fooled by it, then you aren't seeing a TRT expert.

There is, however, something else you can do: do not sleep at all the night before the test. Just make sure you think this through and consider your future testing and plans before you decide to go through with it.

Nope, not looking to fool my doctor or anything like that, just want to make sure I get the most accurate reading because if our beliefs are right, I'll be going on TRT. Many aspects of my life suck right now and it all points to low Test

Well, if you're more curious about how low your test gets, go as late as possible. If you want to know your peak, go early in the morning.
