Killer ab routines for thickness and cuts??...

I am doing much better cutting now that I fixed my diet hardcore.

There is still some fat on the very lowest abs, seems to be tough to lose in general. My top abs are coming out slowly, my obliques and lower ab muscles I can feel, but the middle ones I can't feel at all.

I have been doing the 5x5 (run a search) and it is intense, but not doing what I want it to.

I would be willing to dedicate an entirely extra day to an ab routine if it will do the trick. I want them to be thicker and more defined (I'm not asking how to get them to show)

diet, diet, diet.

You can dedicate a year to ab training, I had a seperate day to ab training, 4x200 crunches, 4x200 leg raises.

In the end all it took to get a sixpack was a 10 second static hold.

I learnt the hard way abs are about diet, hopefully you wont.
 
I know it's about diet.
I am just afraid they are going to be underdeveloped.

I am looking for a routine of sorts.

I Do Needsizes 5X5 static holds on a decline ab bench lower yourself to paralell hold for a count of 5 then back up thats one, do 5 sets of 5. That shit hurts believe me and its only 25 reps.

Cabel Crunches, Preacher Crunches... With Weights, keep ti around 10-12 reps no more! u shouldnt be able to do more, then top that of with weighted crunches.. not to many sets now... do this 2times/week
 
I would do v-ups. They are a great exercise for the whole middle section and can be done weighted as well. I do them 30/20/20 straight and then roll over first a little bit to the left to do 30 reps followed by 30 rolled to the right side. Just make sure your shoulder blades and ankles never touch the floor during exercise. Tension is what you need.
