LANTUS, and IGF receptors?

Ill make this as short as possible, from what I read, it appears that LANTUS acts like IGF, and actually binds to IGF receptors.

So, in laymens terms, is this GOOD or BAD? If it binds to Receptors, does that mean IGF its self (If injected ie: IGF DES or LR3) would be less usable? Due to lantus being there? Or does it make IGF more useful? As in, would Lantus be good to stack with IGF? Or BAD?

Hope this makes sense what I am asking.....

Something I read said:

"Lantus is much more likely to stimulate IGF-1 receptors than is human insulin", my question is, is this desirable from a BBing stand point?
