Losing the muscle you gained after a cycle?

I've been thinking of doing an Anavar cycle for nearly 6 months now, I want to get talking to a girl who actually took it, so that I can see what she looks like post cycle, and ask her about her experience with it... Which is harder to do than is sounds, nobody admits using, which I understand.

Anyway, Main question, I've heard that after you do a cycle, you will slowly lose all the muscle that you gained during that cycle? (Even if you keep lifting etc)
Is this true, or do you keep some muscle?

I need help gaining muscle on my legs, and this is the main reason I wanted to try anavar in the first place.

Gains kept are really dependent on your diet and training.. Especially diet, if it's dialed in you can expect to make gains on var and keep them.
For men, var is a fairly clean muscle builder, if the diet is right,, so your not gonna just gain a lot of fluff and water weight and size that you loose after the cycle.

What's your age and stats
 
expect to lose 50% of your gains post cycle, no matter how good your diet and training is... but a positive way to look at it is you're better off than where you started ;)

^^^ this may very well be true for a girl, being females don't produce much and don't take testosterone to help keep gains. Everyone's different. For a guy that blasts and cruises it would be much different IMO
 
The OP CLEARLY asked for a woman's opinion on her var experience, results, etc - so I have no idea why you guys are even commenting in this thread.

OP - I've PM'd Psizzle on your behalf, she's done many cycles and will be able to give you a good idea of what to expect :)
 
Come on, we can't leave her feeling ignored and unwelcome..... It would be a month or more before a woman would stubble across this thread
 
My Stats: I'm 20, 5'11, around 150lbs. Currently bulking & lifting 5 times a week with no cardio. Eating 2500cals. 18% bf last timd I got it checked, probably around 20 now though
 
Hey girl. Here to help.

First- I've taken anavar tons of times. About to run a cycle actually...I'm a physique competitor though, I'm always a bit reluctant to give cycle advice to bikini competitors...yes you need to be toned but if you're TOO toned and especially too big, you'll get counted off and never win a show.

Second- regarding losing the mass, that's where a good pct comes in. I've never lost much mass after my cycles unless you count when I trained for bodybuilding back in 2010 and got huge. It's just not natural for a woman to possess THAT much mass, it's not easy to keep it. But if you do a simple low dose anavar cycle, that's not something to be concerned with.

IF you run anavar...like I said, I'm afraid of you gaining too much, then the judges will tell you to lose it or transition into figure or physique...I'd go EXTREMELY low. I'm talking 2.5mg twice a day for 5mg per day total. See how your body responds, pay close attention to your measurements (take them once a week on the same day) so you can really pay attention to your growth. The minute you start getting too large, lower the dose or go right into pct.

compounds do not determine the outcome of your body.. your diet and training do, in that order...

if you lose all the muscle you gained after a cycle, its because you did not support that muscle with your nutrition and training after the fact... its that simple.. unless oure past your genetic limit?? which isn't likely
 
If you stay off long enough you will lose anything beyond natural, you see it all the time guys in the gym ifbb pros that had accidents or whatever reason. If you could keep it guys wouldn't cruise actually aas would not be needed. Its like saying if kai Greene and Dennis Wolfe come off and just eat the way they do they will keep it not gonna happen.

I want to comment on your first question. Getting real Var is a huge challenge. There is unfortunately a lot of fake Var out there. Given how many women run Var, that is pretty horrible. A lot of UGL's are actually selling you other orals in low dosages that are androgenic.

Two things you can do are talk to women you trust to try and find a reputable proven source. And ask one of your experienced male friends to test it for you - one who would be able to recognize what it really is. Of course, that male friend will already have to be running testosterone at the time. Don't talk a friend of yours into doing an oral-only cycle. That is a no no for males.

1. Honestly, your best bet would be to show a pic of them in the appropriate AAS picture forum.

2. Anavar hits me with the higher dosages. This is absolutely 100% person dependent though. I can tolerate higher dosages while many women can only handle the 2.5mg twice a day dose. But yes this is very possible. You may be the type to react with the lower dosages, which is why I always say start low. If you run a compound long enough, the virilization will stay.

3. Since you're gaining with an added compound, the effects won't be prominent the longer you're off. If you continue to hit the gym, your diet and training will dictate how much stays...but it's pretty rare for a woman to keep all her gains from AAS.

I just reread your original post...your legs is where you want to gain size. You do realize tweaking your diet and training can do this, right? I would go this route before going to roids honestly.
 
@Psizzle_8 I am only considering because I am training hard and bulking! Although my legs are progressing, they are still skinny, my starting point was 8.5 stone, I'm now 11, but my legs still need more mass for balance me out, at 5'11 I've a lot of space to have to add muscle to! :p
