Low testosterone 18 years old

well you dont need the top diet and count everything just so you can be normal lmao.. i know plenty of people that eat wat their mom makes and they feel good.. Sure if i wanted to build muscle I would have the top diet but im not trying to do that..
I have done 2 testosterone blood test one in the morning and it was at 15 and the second which was around 1 pm or earlier and I got 13. what should I do than? Just suffer until im 25 than see if i still have low t?

Do you know what raw ingredients your body uses to make hormones? If you're not receiving enough healthy fats in your diet, you won't have enough cholesterol to manufacture sex hormones, aka steroids. You're 18, why not be in charge of your diet?

The morning draw is what I was looking for. As testosterone fluctuations occur throughout the day, it's entirely possible to see a drastically different picture based on just that.

In fact, 15nmol/L is actually at the bottom of normal - which may prevent treatment - even if you DEMAND it. What were your other hormones looking like? You only have one small piece of the puzzle, which just tells you that something may be off. Not investigating further would be a disservice to your future self.

I certainly hope it doesn't take 7 years to figure things out with due diligence. ;)

I wanna investigate further but i dont know where to go from here to be honest.. the doctors dont tell me much they just said my level and that everything else looked normal. you say I have to check my diet etc but when humans lived in stone age they didnt know what they ate just as long as it feed them.. and im pretty sure they still were healthy so why do I have to know what I eat specifically? I wanna investigate but I dont know what to do.. I have no experience with this stuff

You should spend some time reading how the HPTA works. Google makes finding information trivial, and there are a great deal of very informative threads here in fact that go into both the TLDR version as well as the very dry medical explanation.

This knowledge helps you to make better decisions regarding your health. I would start with the FAQ in the TRT section in fact.

Stone age humans lived to about 35 years old and often died from the inability to eat due to things like tooth decay, seriously. They were nomads that followed fat-rich sources of nutrients, like local herds of animals that would seasonally travel. Agricultural advances didn't occur for a significant amount of time, and actually is what is considered the dawn of a new age for mankind.

Anyway, enough of the history lesson. You seem to want a fix, but need to understand that there are just so many things that can cause what you're experiencing, it's difficult at best to even guess what would be the best way to attack things. Many state diet, not because they think you're a dumb kid, but because it literally is the number ONE cause for many issues we face. Not just body composition, but everything from adrenal fatigue to insulin resistance to hypothyroidism and as you're potentially seeing - hypogonadism.

You are what you eat. It's not just a catchy phrase, it's the balls to bones truth. I'm not going to bullshit you; people make MILLIONS of dollars trying to convince folks that this simple truth isn't true - but they wouldn't make money selling fad diets, drugs, training devices, and god-knows what else they can market.

It's totally in your best interests to not only to learn what you're eating (the Internet once again makes this trivial, not to mention smart phone apps), but HOW to eat.

Next, I would request that your LH/FSH/vit D/estradiol/prolactin be looked at. These hormones are responsible for testosterone production, and will help paint a bigger picture as to what is going on. For example, if you have an almost non-existent LH, that could mean that there is something interfering with your pituitary gland's production of the hormone - like sleep apnea. If you had a high LH signal, conversely, you may be experiencing a very common issue where the connecting structures in your testes have twisted around - known as varicoceles. The good news is that both of these are treatable, and WON'T interfere with your development from puberty.

It's always best to investigate and rule things out before jumping into a decision that will last the rest of your life. I had a total test about one third of yours, so I TOTALLY know how it feels to have low testosterone. Keep learning, you'll find the right answer that will get you back to feeling 100% better one way or another. :)

LH/FSH//estradiol/prolactin & HPTA is all news to me... ugh .. well Im gonna ask my doctor to check the LH/FSH//estradiol/prolactin im guessing you can do that trough a blood test? also vit D is vitamin D right? I think they said it was normal too. I actually took Multivitamin for 100 days and it had no effect on me. It had vitamin D too so it cant be that.
And someone said they will say no if I ask for test and they are probably right. well if theres anything else I should ask my doctor let me know but I will be asking him to check the things you said.

Give this a read. It will help you start putting some of the pieces together so you can understand what we are talking about. This will help you advocate for your health.

And by the way. Multivitamins usually don't have nearly enough Vitamin D, so it actually can be low Vitamin D that is one of our issues.

I appericate all the help!
If anyone has any other advice anything please feel free to post Im very intrested and willing to take any help I can get.

well i have made my choice. I will be taking testosterone. Will have a talk with my doctor as soon as I can.
and I dont see how taking testosterone wont let my devolpment finnish in fact it should help it? they say you know your body best. and I know I need testosterone. Honestly i dont mind taking injections for the rest of my life, but who knows I might regrett saying this never done it b4. I might come back and update if you guys wanna know if it helped or not. but one thing I know for sure is. a person shouldnt be feeling this way i am. especially if you are 18. I wil prob take testosterone later in life for other purposes so why not start now and get a feel for it.

you clearly have no idea how these hormones or development work... spikes in hormones and taking outside sources of it stop your own production, shutdown your system (for all) and in people under age 25 it halts and screws up endocrine development, bone and more, for life (not help it...).....
please keep researching before pushing what you think is the fix...
good luck

UPDATE: Hey guys. I have done a urine sample so far and everything seemed to be fine there.
Maybe I should have said it from the start but i have social anxiety disorder.. dunno if this can be the cause of all this but I will soon be taking medication for my SAD so.

As far as the testosterone.. I will talk to my doctor soon about taking the blood tests. And I wanna do a MRI scan.

hello im back i told my doctor i wanted to test LH/FSH/vit D/estradiol/prolactin and vitaamin c but he said NO because it's unreasonably the reason im feeling tired all the time the only thing he agreed on was vitamin D which he didnt wanna do either but went with it. so i just took a blood test for vitamin d and i will get the results back soon. Will update when i get the answer.

turns out my vitamin d is slightly lowered. he wants to take 2 more blood test to see if I need to take vitamin D. But I doubt this is the main root of my problem lol.. vitamin D big deal... its only skin that gets affected

DO you have any of the following symptoms:

Voice not fully maturing
low to no facial hair
low pubic hair
gyno
basically I am wondering if you have had absent or incomplete sexual maturation?

MMS: Error

BACKGROUND
Idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, which may be associated with anosmia (the Kallmann syndrome) or with a normal sense of smell, is a treatable form of male infertility caused by a congenital defect in the secretion or action of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). Patients have absent or incomplete sexual maturation by the age of 18. Idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism was previously thought to require lifelong therapy. We describe 15 men in whom reversal of idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism was sustained after discontinuation of hormonal therapy.

This.

I've never understood why people let the business tell the customer what they're going to do. You don't go to a mechanic, and let them tell you that they'll put a new tire on your car when what you need is a new radiator. Blows my mind sometimes.

If you say no to those we suggest you look for the root cause of your inadequate testosterone levels and symptoms before trying TRT.

Hope this helps.

Sounds like adrenals, BTW we can help you with that if you would like. Our new network has the testing set up for it and the programs you need to get it fixed.

One of our guys who is older than you used our peptide program for 4 months and got his natty T levels up to 900. So that may be something the doctor considers, basically get tested and go from there.

I used to not be a fan of peptide only until I saw those results with my own eyes.
