What are your opinions on what's better for isolating muscles? I roll my eyes at the machines at the gym however whenever I use it to isolate a particular muscle I feel as though it gets the job done. But still, free weights > machines...
I like to use machines when i want to go really heavy and have no spotter. That way Im not dropping a 200lb barbell on my neck if i struggle. Otherwise dumbells all the way.
