So I'm on my first cycle of test e, according to the sticky here I should be eating about 3600 calories a day. I'm 5ft 9 and 177 lbs at about 16% BF based off caliper testing. Any thoughts on proper breakdown and how I can eat that much food in 6 meals a day? I was thinking a 350g protien, 350g carbs and 85g fats.

Post a pic..16 percent...slow ur roll a wee bit...high fat and test...your not fat but ur not where u need to be with eat e r thing in sight... no offense.

Where do these guys keep getting the idea that THAT much protein is the way to go???
177Lb = 350g protien:dunno:

I got it from a 40/40/20 %breakdown of macros based on the caloric intake. If you have a better suggestion, I'm all ears. I'm just going off of stickies and threads on here.

Ok. You want to be taking in about 1 - 1 1/2 grams of protein per lb body weight;-)
So you would be right around 200g protein/day. Good enough.

I'm a bit over 200 and I shoot for 300 or more g of protein. If I didn't then I would have to make up lost calories by eating more fat and/or carbs. Since I normally hit about 100 g on my fat that leaves me with about 330 g for carbs. Since that's enough fat and carbs I have to eat that much protein other wise I would be under eating.
OP I think 3600 cals is a bit high for you. Unless u are very active. In that case eat away!

16% bodyfat with calipers probably means about 19-20% actual fat, 7 site tests are heavily correlated to actual bodyfat levels but underestimate by 3-4% according to several studies. If the caliper test was done with an updated DC equation then the underestimation would be 2-2.5% so 18-18.5% bodyfat.

Pic is in profile, and I know I'm not over 18% let alone 20% as far as activity level, I have a very active and demanding job and am on my feet for 10 plus hrs a day

I would hit up 3J, he is the diet expert on this forum. Really knows his shit

You don't have a foundation to build on. It is way more important to get a solid routine down and train natural. Put on 20 lbs of muscle through hard work, then think AAS.

16% at 177? IMO you need to spend a few years getting your diet and routine dialed in before you mess with drugs.

I'm a complete DORK when it comes to testing (I do R&D/development for a living). When I started lifting I DEVOURED every bit of diet/training information in site, put it in my "toolbox", and then got to testing. It took me a solid two years to figure out what worked best for my body. Two years my man. Two years of constant testing. And it's fair to say not very many people dork out like I do. I hate to be harsh, but if you think you understand your body even 20% you're wrong. And you shouldn't be adding a huge variable like drugs until you have a much better understanding. Because guess what happens when you add drugs? You get a bucketload of new variables. More variables that you're not ready for.

Here's where you need to go for a ton of information to chew on... "pardon the pun."

You really owe it to yourself to read all of 3J's threads and posts...

He's your guy for diet and nutrition here at Ology... he's the best... HANDS DOWN!

I haven't personally been a client, but I do know some who have been on the stage in competition
who swear by his program!
