Tired of my wheels spinning. Need some feedback. Gotta intense job(been at it 7 years). 10-12 hour work days, drivin a truck doin deliveries. no breaks. Heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, walking. etc. Muscles dont get time to recover after gym workouts. Tough to keep a good diet. burning too many calories. Then after all that come home to take care of a 6 month old. inconsistent sleep. Tried numerous cycles, had success and failures. but overall i cant keep weight on. Quit my job?? lol. hope this thread is in the right forum. just tired of not reaching my goals(and keeping them)due to my vigurous lifestyle.

Hey man, first thing's first: Nobody ever said it would be easy!

Try to get your diet in check before anything else. I've been lifting for several years and have found that (as boring as it may sound) diet is one of, if not THE most important aspect of improving your physique, health and attitude toward life!

Invest in a 6-pack bag. I just got one last week for less than a hundred bucks. It is a portable cooler that will hold up to 3 meals plus protein shakes in a convenient little gym-bag. It has changed my life as far as my nutrition is concerned.

I never skip a meal anymore thanks to the bag. I'm sure you can get a generic one as well, I just got a really good deal on the 6pack one so I decided to pick it up.

Remember man, from what veterans tell me: Nutrition, Rest and Training come before juice 100% of the time. You will not make incredible gains if any of those three are lacking!

Feel free to read the stickies on here, they have helped me tremendously!

God bless and good luck

I feel your pain. I make my living swinging a sledge hammer and working a shovel. I also have a 3 month and 4 year old.
Dialing in your training so you can recover and grow is the hardest part but it's doable with lots of trial and error.
Diet is the most important though. I do intermittent fasting year round wether I'm bulking, cutting or whatever. No matter how busy you are there no excuse for not having your diet in check. If you cast find the time for that then you might as well give up
