morning carb while cutting

Ok, what is something I can eat in the morning besides oatmeal? I can't stand oatmeal, If I eat a half cup in the morning it will take me a half hour to put it down because it makes me sick.

If you're cutting why not ditch the carb all togther and have a Pro/Fat meal.

50g whey and 1Tbs fish oil goes down nice :)

is that a carb? I thought it was just a fat? I was thinking 2 slices wheat bread toast with peanut butter. I'm not really "cutting" for a contest, just want to drop my bodyfat down from about 18% to 10-12%, enough to bring out some abs.

have u tried putting the oats in a blender and bnlending them up to make a shake. Did wonders for me when i was sick of them

The following are low-carb breakfast options...dunno if you take milk or not, but imo a cup of milk in the AM isn't really a biggie if your diet is spot on.

# = GI Rating (<55 is considered low GI)
All Bran with Fiber 38
Bran Buds 47
Oatmeal 49
Muesli, toasted 43
Oat Bran 55

I love that advice. Here's why:
1) the fatburning process overnight remains uninterrupted since there are no sugars in the breakfast.
2) the fat tricks the brain, resulting in less carb cravings during the day.

it would have to be some expensive low or no sugar whey?

I eat plain oatmeal every morning for the last 3 or 4 years, takes about a hour if I am busy at work to chew down, but its very healthy to be in your diet

I have fishoil caps(one pill is 1gram). How many of them should I take in the morning to equal 1Tbs of fish oil?

A Tbs fish oil has about 14g fat. Not sure if the caps are 1g fat each or 1g omega 3 each.

They are one gram of fat each. I'm not willing to down 14pills in the morning. Any other alternatives besides buying/drinking liquid fish oil?

Not really. Just get a bottle of fish oil, man up, and down the hatch. :spit:

(it's really not bad....i use 2Tbs/day)

Do you mix it with the shake or do you down it before or after the shake?

No I just pour it into a Tbs and down it. I usualy use Barleans which has an orange flavor, or Carlson which has a lemon flavor. They're not bad at all.

Bump this...
Just be sure it's been at least 6 hours since your last meal (preferably 8h) or that trick won't work too well.
