First of all, thank you Hurricane for letting me try out Pump Juice extreme.
I got my package last Tuesday but didn't try it until Thursday so I have a few days trying it out so far.
Let me get down to the instant basics that one would notice from a pre workout and review it before I start my performance log.
Taste: 8/10 the taste is decent. I have the cherry berry explosion and believe it's the only one they have as far as flavor. As usual, flavor is enhanced when ice is added, but there's a certain after taste to it that I can't put my finger on. Still decent.
Mixing: 6/10 leaves considerable foam behind. Sometimes I notice that if I let the foam rest a bit I can get a few extra sips out of the serving size.
Now on to the fun stuff
First day I used it was back and biceps day.
I'm very tolerant to stimulants and the first time I took it I had eaten breakfast. Upon taking it, I didn't get that tingly feeling that one usually gets after 15 minutes of taking the pre workout. I usually sip mine while walking to the gym.
So far: no tingly feeling. Which I don't mind, I don't like it. Now I'm usually the guy that just goes in, doesn't have music playing on his headphones, I don't go all hyped up I just go in and do what I have to do and keep it simple.
Within 20 minutes of ingesting I get in the music mood. I'm feeling damn good! My mood is enhanced and feeling all sorts of hyped up for the gym. Pump juice extreme doesn't have a crazy amount of caffeine but boy was I AWAKE. As soon as I hit the gym I'm ready to go nuts.
I didn't keep logs on the weights I lifted but I know I did a bit more pounds than usual, for the first and second run I want to keep it based on the way it makes me feel. What I noticed was increased stamina. I don't know why but I've always been the one where 4 crazy intense sets I'm ready to tap out and wonder how dudes get that 5th set in keeping high weights.
Well here's what I also noticed with pump juice; I was ready and willing to do MORE. I never had that from any other pre workout honestly and was quite impressed with the first time I used it.
Tomorrow I'm gonna try something different and try it on an empty stomach, so keep watch on my experience with this stuff on an empty stomach. So far so good!
