MR Supps Pump Juice Extreme Log

First of all, thank you Hurricane for letting me try out Pump Juice extreme.

I got my package last Tuesday but didn't try it until Thursday so I have a few days trying it out so far.

Let me get down to the instant basics that one would notice from a pre workout and review it before I start my performance log.

Taste: 8/10 the taste is decent. I have the cherry berry explosion and believe it's the only one they have as far as flavor. As usual, flavor is enhanced when ice is added, but there's a certain after taste to it that I can't put my finger on. Still decent.

Mixing: 6/10 leaves considerable foam behind. Sometimes I notice that if I let the foam rest a bit I can get a few extra sips out of the serving size.

Now on to the fun stuff

First day I used it was back and biceps day.

I'm very tolerant to stimulants and the first time I took it I had eaten breakfast. Upon taking it, I didn't get that tingly feeling that one usually gets after 15 minutes of taking the pre workout. I usually sip mine while walking to the gym.

So far: no tingly feeling. Which I don't mind, I don't like it. Now I'm usually the guy that just goes in, doesn't have music playing on his headphones, I don't go all hyped up I just go in and do what I have to do and keep it simple.

Within 20 minutes of ingesting I get in the music mood. I'm feeling damn good! My mood is enhanced and feeling all sorts of hyped up for the gym. Pump juice extreme doesn't have a crazy amount of caffeine but boy was I AWAKE. As soon as I hit the gym I'm ready to go nuts.

I didn't keep logs on the weights I lifted but I know I did a bit more pounds than usual, for the first and second run I want to keep it based on the way it makes me feel. What I noticed was increased stamina. I don't know why but I've always been the one where 4 crazy intense sets I'm ready to tap out and wonder how dudes get that 5th set in keeping high weights.

Well here's what I also noticed with pump juice; I was ready and willing to do MORE. I never had that from any other pre workout honestly and was quite impressed with the first time I used it.

Tomorrow I'm gonna try something different and try it on an empty stomach, so keep watch on my experience with this stuff on an empty stomach. So far so good!

thanks for getting this up brother! ill be following, i just caught this now. To be honest we have red razz,watermelon and strawberry margarita. i havent tried all flavors but i do like the red razz better then the cherry ... but some do like the cherry
 
Checking in again today!

Today was shoulders and decided to give pump juice a try on an empty stomach!

First thing I noticed was how quick it started to kick in! And that tingly feeling I say I didn't get the first time..? Well not this time! I had a slight tingle around my face, as expected from certain pre workouts.

Started off strong with some hammer strength machine shoulder presses. Warmed up with 225x15. Then I put on another 90 lbs; 3 plates each side. Now this is my usual for 10 reps. Today was different though: and all other factors remained the same EXCEPT that I'm now taking pump juice before my heavy workouts. I hit 315x12!! As I was putting that last rep up I guess I was really pushing and the face started to itch on that last rep! I decided to take it up a notch and put an extra 30lbs. Got 345x6-7-6 another 3 times. Definitely felt the extra push there from the pump juice.

Moved on to some felt raises with 45lb Dumbbells seated to keep proper form. Hit those like its nothing until failure.
One thing that I noticed was that I started to sweat more than I usually do. I noticed there's some glycerol in pump juice which is great! That could be the cause or maybe I'm just fkin shet up more than usual!

Finished it off with my favorite exercise: Barbell shrugs. My traps are one of my dominant features for a reason; I love working them out. Love how they look when they're all bulging making them tank tops stringers scream for dear life. I usually do 405x6 but today I managed to get 405x7. This is AFTER all the shoulder workouts (my 6th set) so I was pretty surprised I got that last rep in.

finished the day off with some abs and stuff.
I notice this stuff kick in harder when I'm not digesting food and such! I'll try it out about 2-3 hours after a meal next time to see how it differs from just taking it in the morning fasted!
 
This entry is for yesterday (Sunday) but I was very busy with work yesterday right after the gym and by the time I got home I knocked out and didn't have time to log.

yesterday was one of those days where I didn't feel like doing much. I was a tad bit tired because I woke up at 10am and fall asleep like at 4-5am (that's when I get home from work). On top of that, it was back and biceps so I knew it would be a very taxing workout because I incorporate deadlifts and a lot of heavy rows on my second back workout day (I work each muscle twice a day). On top of that, I'm on 7iu HGH and ever since I bumped it from 5-7iu I have been very sleepy more often; regardless, strength and pump is there along with keeping me lean.

I was on the train ready to just skip the gym and go to my girlfriends house but said fuck it, I need this, I want this, let's not put these calories and gear to waste. My mind changed its mind set to go fuck shit up but my body was saying NO. I was sleepy as fuck, well guess what; that was easily handled with a serving of pump juice.

Another thing I have to say about pump juice: this stuff wakes you UP in a not so jittery way. This Sunday was one of my best back/bis workouts in a while and Pump juice helped me push through that grogginess.

Stamina and pump was unreal today, could be because of more steady and frequent use along with calorie increase.
Did some good sets of:
Seated alternated dumbbell curls: 55lbsx10x10x8
Seated hammer curls: 60x8x8x7
EZ bar curls: 95x12-> 115x8x6x6
Machine cable curls with straight bar drop sets: 150x4 until lowest weight which was 20x4

Back:
Hammer strength machine iso-high row: 200x10x10x9x8
Hammer strength machine iso-low row: 200x10x9x7
Hammer strength machine iso lay pull down close grip: 180x8x8x8x7
Deadlifts: 225x12-> 315x6x6 -> (lower left back pain was setting in so I dropped weight) 245x8

This workout wouldn't have been as good without pump juice. It's slowly convincing me that I can get all the benefits without all the drama in a pre workout

So I'm convinced that Pump juice is by far the ONLY pre workout that can make me feel "awake" without making me crash mid workout or after. Yesterday was chest and Tris, I came home at 6am from work the night before and I was exhausted. Woke up around 12Pm still exhausted and basically lounged around all day procrastinating, eating and taking random naps. Still with naps, I was so beat. Regardless, I had to get shit done.

As always, on my way to the gym which is about half hour away (all the way in queens and I'm in the BX for you NYrkers so ya know what I'm talking about) I popped my pump juice into my shaker cup and sipped. my mindset is trashed whenever I'm tired, I told myself "I'm gonna go lift whatever". Motivation wasn't there. Again, as I was getting closer to the gym I stared to feel like listening to music... Guns and Roses specifically idk why. And boom, that's when I knew the pump juice was kicking in. It has NOT disappointed yet!
Compared to my deadlift which is about 455 for a few reps, my bench isn't all that great. I usually do about 265 for 6-8... Well today I bust about 10 of them but he's. Pump juice synergy with my current bulk has my bulk all kinds of crazy.
Flat bench: 265x10x9x9
Incline HS machine: 315x6x6x6x5
Decline HS machine: 275x4 (had to drop cuz my triceps give out fast) 245x10x9x10
Cable cross overs: 75lbs each side for 10x3
Incline cable cross overs: 75x10x10x8

Did some tris after and abs to finish it off. Boy was I beat but the juice got me through all that. Love the stuff, like I said so far the only issue is the mixing!
