My gyno surgery

Hello all. I've appreciated all the info I've learned here over the past several months.

I figured since I've learned so much here that I'd share some info that some of you guys may find useful. I'm having gyno surgery in about 2 weeks and I'll share as much info as I can and answer any questions about it.

I've had gyno since puberty.. Probably didn't help it that I enjoyed lots of "green" over the years. I'm finally in the financial position to take care of it and my new leaner figure has made me even more self concious about it (I dropped from 189 to 138 in last 15 months).

Some basic stats: I'm 26, 5'5", lifted thru highschool and shortly thereafter, but stopped working out and gained a ton of weight in my early 20's. Been back in the gym hard for a little over a year.

Surgery is in 12 days.. I'll post some pics and my pre-op instructions soon.

Surgery complete

So I just starting to feel normal here as the general anesthesia is wearing off. My procedure removed breast tissue from both sides and some light lypo to shape my chest. I've some soreness and I can't left my arms very far without some pain, but it all seems quite manageable. I'll post some pics of the compression vest they sent me home in when my girlfriend gets here to help me get my shirt off.

Coll man thanks for sharing, looking forward to the post-pics. Can i ask what the surgery cost you? Did they remove any solid tissue or just soft?

Pics coming tonight.. I had a not-insignificant lump of breast tissue on both sides...think the size of a child's fist. He cut that out thru 1-inch incisions along the bottom of my areolas. The doctor used lypo for the best-looking result, and he pulled out what fat tissue he could thru the same incision, sculpting my upper chest and into my armpit area.

Surgeons fee was $2850 (I found slightly cheaper but was more comfortable with the surgeon I chose). The surgical facility fees were $1650, including anesthesia and everything else. Also paid $85 for a compression vest that I'm to wear for the next several weeks. $4585 total :/

Best of luck my friend. It may seem like alot of money now however you will be happy with the results.

Thanks for sharing bro.
But holy shit... 5 grand? That is a shitlot of money right there...
Hope you get well soon muchacho

Thanks, friend. I was self-conscious all through high school and haven't been comfortable at a pool or beach since middle school! This is something I've saved up for and knew I wanted to take care of once I lost the weight I gained after college and got myself back into shape. It was honestly my reward to myself and one that will pay itself back over the rest of my life.

On to the pictures!
So what you see is the compression vest.. I'll take it off tomorrow and take of the big square gauze over the scars and be able to see the incisions sutures around my areolas. you can see that one side bled and drained much worse than the other.

the ace bandage wrapped over my shoulders i put on a couple hours ago because my armpits were swollen and collecting fluid. The whole area was getting trapped between the vest and my arms.. very uncomfortable.

I'm sore to the touch but not overly sore. taken 5/350 percocets maybe 3-4 times since I've been home at 11am. Arm movements limited to about parallel with my shoulders before my chest hurts badly. More updates tomorrow!
