i like that idea, have a fully filled normal gym set up for the majority of people then have a lower floor set up with nothing but freeweights and hammerstrength, where people can lift hard without worrying about droppin weights, grunting and can listen to real music.
 
MV needs to just open up his gym, that would be the shit. I could picture it now! He could even put in those little vending machines that spit out candy by the handful, but instead they could be filled with Winstrol (winny), or dbol. That is the gym I would want to go to, The "dungeon" would be the shit! Hey nevermind that idea, I am gonna use that when I open my gym!!!
 
This is where hidden doors come into play. Have a locker in the mens room open up to the real weight room while the hamsters run on there precious treadmills visible from the outside.
 
Honestly guys...the dungeon idea is da bomb! i would just love to have a hardcore workout in a gym with nuttin my hammerstrength and free weights...but we gotta have some hot bodacious babes workin behind the test dispenser....alongside with some head bashing tunez! like metallica and pantera
 
Looks like music is a big issue. Everyone likes the heavy weights. the loud music but the type of music,,,well someones not gonna win.

Actually, I will never open one as they are very difficult to make a real profit with. Plus there are too many gyms in my area as it is. Although I'm in love with my idea.

I used to workout at a place like that in AZ. It was a warehouse that had big bay doors that they'd open in the summertime. Concrete floors with a few rubber mats thrown about and nothing but free weights. It was funny cause they had a small room with carpet and 6 stationary bikes in the front and that was it for cardio.

BTW, the sign on the door to "The Dungeon" would read as follows:

If ure all about the $$$ then get as many smokin' girls in there u can. Then watch all the men follow. Anybody serious about lifting is going to base their opinion on the amount of free weights and quality of the equiptment.
 
You might make more by selling products at your gym then membership itself, possibly behind the counter carry a few popular types of per workout and protein. I've also noticed at gyms here the ones that are more low stress and family orientated and welcoming gyms get more business then the gyms that are geared toward strictly heavy lifters and guys in their 20's and 30's.
