Bumping my own thread again because i have an appointment with a Urologist here in the UK tomorrow. If anyones still interested on the outcome, i will still be posting on here so you can all have a laugh at the UKs health system

I briefly read through your thread and I wish you the best. Don't get discouraged if you don't find an answer immediately.

Hey man appreciate your reply.

I seen a 'urologist' here in the UK this week. From reading on forums like this i had already expected the outcome to be pointless as it's shocking how bad the intelligence of these so called 'experts' is. I expect it from doctors and i actually don't blame them as they have the whole human body as a whole to learn about and treat. But when you're reffered to an 'expert' you expect better.

This foreign expert sits there with his massive 'andro-gut' and stench of B.O and states that i must have depression. I tell him my life is perfectly fine apart from the symptoms i experience. He then goes on to tell me how people cannot help being depressed and it's an imbalance of the brain which causes these feelings.

I then go on to tell him in a polite and non cocky manner that perhaps having the testosterone level of an 80 year old man at 20 could cause some of these imbalances you talk about? Namely lower dopamine from lowered testosterone. He then just laughs it offs and says he couldn't possibly give me testosterone because of the side effects. At this point i just looked at the floor completely diserented when he wanted to refer me to a sexual therapist LOL. "hi there therapist i can't get morning wood and have really bad brain fog, any chance?". I managed to get an appointment with the top endocrinologist at the hospital in July. Which is a hell of a way off to be told pretty much the same thing i imagine.

Roll on death lol...

Morning wood isn't necessarily tied to testosterone. The truth is it is not fully understood. Many theorize that it is related to REM sleep. Also related to having a full bladder in the morning. There is info on Wikipedia if you want to learn more. Your sleep issues very we'll be causing it. Have you gotten the sleep study yet?
