No sleep + bloodwork

Hey everyone,

Last week I had my bloodwork done around 2:00 pm after being up all night to finish a report for school. I have an appointment to get my results tomorrow.

I was just wondering if anyone has done this before (on purpose or otherwise) and if they had to re-do their bloodwork because of it.

I figured it shouldn't be a problem- if anything, test would be lower as it is normally the highest in the morning.. But then I realized other things such as prolactin and E2 might also be lower, which is bad if the goal is to get on TRT..

Any thoughts?

No ones going to help you rig the system. If you want roids visit the aas section and dig for a source as a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose won't do anything really for muscle growth.

Proper way to test is: good sleep, before 9am and fasted.

That's not my goal at all,

While I would like to be able to work out regularly and see some benefits of my effort, I have no interest in bodybuilding. I just want a normal / upper normal level that you would normally find in a 20-something year old male.

I am just paranoid that my results might be skewed to somehow make my Dr think I don't need replacement therapy, when he otherwise would. But there's no point worrying about it I guess. I'll find out soon enough.

Just got my results:

LH 3.1 (1.2-8.6)
FSH 3.6 (1.3-19.3)
Total T 340 ng/dl (converted from 11.8 NMOL/L)
Free T 1.55 ng/dl (converted from 53.8 PMOL/L)
Estradiol 105 PMOL/L (0-172)
Prolactin 6.2 (2.6-13.1)

I'm at a loss for words.. I don't know what to do.

My first two tests showed free T of 0.52 and 0.75 ng/dl, yet this one (after being awake for over 30 hours) is somehow double the previous test. Still low, but high enough that my regular doc says testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) isn't needed.

I guess its good that my T isn't as low as I thought it was. But at least then I thought I knew what the problem was... Now I'm back to square 1. I have all the symptoms (no more sex drive) yet I have NO CLUE wtf is causing this.

I've been referred to a sex + fertility specialist at a hospital nearby... post back when I get more info.
