yo people obama is out the door soon thank god, vote republican.

Dude, wake up. This is not a Democrat versus Republican thing. The ball for this started rolling under a Republican president, and is just being carried by a Democrat. Both parties are playing this, so knock it off with the "vote republican" bullshit.

This could bad shit if mismanaged, and Dread Pirate has it right that you should write your representative if you want your voice to be heard.

PS: The Republican fundy base is backing this legislation BIG TIME because it means tighter control of "offensive" internet content. Another reason why reducing this to Dems vs Repubs makes little sense.

Sorry Mr P, I love your posts and respect your knowledge, but you are SO way off base here it's not even funny.

I know you have to wite or call your state rep boy, I'm just using this moment to remind people to vote for republican, hold on to your pants boy and don't push it.

vote for no one than :dunno:

I'm going to vote for the better candidate, whether it's Republican or Democrat. To tell you the truth, they both suck so far; there is not a single candidate (or potential candidate) out there that I like, and that includes Obama even though I voted for him in 2008.

Knock it off with the boy stuff, if you don't mind. It's rude.

Why should we vote republican? They don't seem to have any better ideas than the Democrats. My vote will go for whoever can actually come up with a plan that makes some damn sense rather than pandering to the corporate lobbyists.

LOL.

Political talk doesn't really belong here anyway. It only divides the very people who should be sticking together to keep from getting buttfucked by big government and big business.

To tell you the truth, I don't care what anyone's politics on this board are. We are all brothers in our pursuit of muscle!

It's funny how this always gets turned into Republican vs Democrat. Both sides are slowly taking your rights away... No one wants to believe it though. Instead you have all of these dumbass people that are like "Yeah right, We live in America, They would never do that." You just wait and see... They are gaining way with each 2,000 page bill that they pass. I can promise you that they are already watching this site and any other site talking about steroids.

Ok I'm confused. In the article it says President Obama is quoted as saying he won't take a backseat to anyone in his committment to net neutraility and in this article he says he will veto the bill:
FCC's Net Neutrality Rules Take Effect Nov. 20 | News & Opinion | PCMag.com

I'm very confused, I thought net-neutraility is what people want...that is that the intenet is neutral from any outside influences or controls? If anyone could clear this up that would be very helpful!

I haven't heard of this until now for some reason so I feel I'm behind the power curve.

lol... how about just anyone to stop giving away our cash to countries who "missapropriate it" and companies who are "too big to fail."

Here's a good rundown of the good and the bad, minus the frothing at the mouth Fox editorializing..
