Permanent lump/access?

I have an area on my deltoid, about 5cms big, that feels like a hard lump. Doctors can't figure out what it is... I had an ultrasound and MRI. Ultrasound said maybe a lipoma (harmless fat tumor), but MRI said its not fat.

It's exactly at my injection site on my deltoid, but I haven't pinned in about 2-3 years. Can this be some sort of left over oil that built up? Scar tissue of sorts? I've done some big injections there, about 2.5cc at times...

Dr wants to biopsy to rule out cancer -- which is scaring the shit out of me. Ultrasound showed no vascularity tho

Any ideas?

The title should say abcess rather than access.

As for when it appeared, I remembered a lump after I had my shots a couple years back, but I thought it had went away or shrunk. Just recently, I think, has it grown a bit and made it noticeable. I do have a hard lump in my glute, where I also shot. Im hoping what's in my arm is the same thing, just larger

If your mass has reduced significantly lately it would appear bigger...? Does it hurt ??

Cut that shit out and move on....

No pain at all... Sarcoma is the only thing I'm worried about
